    30 Does Not Go Into 3.........

    in Real Estate

    Many people have issues with their personal finances. No matter how hard they try it seems like they are always in need of extra money to make ends meet. Many people go back to school with the intention of earning more personal income. However that might work for some, but not for others.

    Have U wondered why a person who has two jobs ends up broke or how a 3 paycheck family has financial problems ? There is a simple explation; simply put (30 does not go into 3) or 30 days of spending does not go into 3 pay days.  Our goal is to earn a paycheck for everyday of the month.

    In this episode of "It's My House" we shall discuss how to do this.

    in Real Estate

    Today on "It's My House" we shall be "doing the math".  The math we are talking about is really the basic arithmetic that we need to use in setting our financial goals for our upcoming year of 2015. We shall be apply the basic

    We shall do the math for organizing solar panel training and brining commerce to communities who seek our presence and business.

    Feel free to call in to make comments and suggestions; also have pen and paper available to take plenty of notes.

    Abraham Taught Astronomy in the Courts of Pharoah

    in Religion

    From Flavius Josephus:

    2. For whereas the Egyptians were formerly addicted to different customs, and despised one another's sacred and accustomed rites, and were very angry one with another on that account, Abram conferred with each of them, and, confuting the reasonings they made use of, every one for their own practices, demonstrated that such reasonings were vain and void of truth: whereupon he was admired by them in those conferences as a very wise man, and one of great sagacity, when he discoursed on any subject he undertook; and this not only in understanding it, but in persuading other men also to assent to him. He communicated to them arithmetic, and delivered to them the science of astronomy; for before Abram came into Egypt they were unacquainted with those parts of learning; for that science came from the Chaldeans into Egypt, and from thence to the Greeks also. Antiquities; Flavius Josephus, Bk I, Chap 8.

    From a Man with a 3rd Grade Education--Joseph Smith:

    And I, Abraham, had the Urim and Thummim, which the Lord my God had given unto me, in Ur of the Chaldees;
    2 And I saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it;
    3 And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God...
    4 And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob. Abraham 3:1–4

    Back To School... Is An Oxymoron!

    in School

    When I hear "Back to School" it feels like They are returning to a place that is behind them. Sort of like going "Back to Prison" They are similar because  you are locked into a regimen that is forceful and controlling. School is like a place for conforming rather than expanding. " Is this how we permit America to enlighten, Mpower and direct our babies? Should we but in?Expansion isn't in the vocabulary when you hear teachers speak about their curriculum. School gets you to conform and to inject everyone with the same information (or lack thereof) so we will all move the same way and time and have the same perspective. In school we all memorize the same 4 things, Reading, Writing, Arithmetic and the European culture. Parents are really saying , My little Johnnie is so smart because he conforms quicker and more thoroughly than your  dumb Suzy. Or  "Girls conform quicker than little boys so they are smarter than boys".

    Politics Done Right on KPFT - America can afford Medicare for all

    America can afford Medicare for all

    Last week while performing my engineering duties on KPFT’s Thinkwing Radio with Mike Honig, a rather disturbing call came from a caller. The caller was not a bad person. The caller was not ill willed. The caller simply bought into the tenet that the mythical free market can solve all of America and the world’s problems.

    I do not mind folks having different ideological beliefs in most segments of our economy. In fact it may even be a great experiment to show what works effectively.

    Where these ideologies cause pain, financial distress, or deaths unnecessarily to our fellow human beings, to our fellow Americans, one should not leave it up to some unseen, unknown, or so far failed market.
    When the caller implied that morality had no role in the implementation of healthcare, I was left flabbergasted. He seemed to be of the belief that somehow there was some intrinsic benevolence to our mythical free market.

    There are grey areas in every debate. However there are areas where there are absolutes. Healthcare is one of the areas with absolutes. Those who want a complete mythical free market answer to healthcare have already been proven wrong. Americans need not have had to go through the past decades of wasteful medical spending and medical robbery. Simple arithmetic had the answer.

    There is only one solution that makes mathematical sense. It is Medicare for all.

    Our guests is John Williams, Follett Learning's Director of Digital Products.

    Reading to learn has never been more important, and writing with skill and focus can open more doors than ever before. As for arithmetic, well we all know that isn’t going anywhere any time soon. But in order to move forward into a brave new world of digital learning, we cannot forget the past, and at its heart are books. Reading and gaining a deep understanding of what is read is not exactly where Facebook posts, Tweets and dramatic headlines are taking us, but the essential skills of reading are the same. And so is learning to read for deeper understanding—close reading is more important than ever to better prepare students for what they will encounter in life.
