    Seamus Dever of ABC's 'Castle'

    Seamus Dever, Det. Kevin Ryan on ABC's "Castle," is making an appearance on BuzzWorthy Radio.

    On television he is widely recognized to audiences from his breakthrough performances as 'Dr. Getti' on ARMY WIVES and 'Dr. Ian Devlin' on ABC's GENERAL HOSPITAL. In addition, other memorable guest star appearances include DARK BLUE, MAD MEN, DROP DEAD DIVA, COLD CASE, NCIS, GHOST WHISPERER and all three of the CSI series.

    Seamus appeared on the big screen in Focus Features' HOLLYWOODLAND and the independent comedy READY OR NOT.

    Well known to Los Angeles Theatre audiences, Dever portrayed 'Alex' in the Los Angeles Premiere of A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. He received rave reviews and nominations for an Ovation Award, Garland Award and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award. One of the highlights of his LA theatre career was his notable performance as 'Hans' in iWITNESS at reputable THE MARK TAPER FORUM.

    Dever was born in Flint, MI and moved to Bullhead City, AZ when he was six years old. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and after only three years was accepted into the graduate program at prestigious Carnegie-Mellon University and The Moscow Art Theatre. He is the youngest member to have completed this program. Dever is proud member of the Antaeus Company (Los Angeles' premiere classical theatre company) and a lifetime member of the renowned Actor's Studio.

    We've spent a few weeks chatting about the great new web series "Fumbling thru the Pieces". Well the promo is out on YouTube and many folks have checked out what's in store. Tonight's show is a special treat with Kitty Swink & Northern Exposure's Diane Delano! We'll explore Kitty's career and why she chose to come on board as the formidable Stella. We'll be chatting with DOnna Hurst about FTTP music.

    Kitty Swink is a perennial television guest star, appearing on such shows as OUTLAW, LEVERAGE, THE RICHES, HAWTHORNE, WITHOUT A TRACE, MONK , JOAN OF ARCADIA, JUDGING AMY, ALIAS, NYPD BLUE, and many others. She was a recurring character on The N’s series SOUTH OF NOWHERE and the Lifetime series, FOR THE PEOPLE. Sci-fi fans know her from her work on STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE and BABYLON FIVE. She’s done many movies of the week and feature films including HARD TO COME BY, BOXBOARDERS and THE WORKS. Her other film works include Paul Shrader’s PATTY HEARST, Phil Alden Robinson’s IN THE MOOD, LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON, IN THE MOOD, WAVE BABES and the festival hit BREATHING HARD. As a member of the classical ensemble, ANTEAUS THEATRE COMPANY she has appeared in THE AUTUMN GARDEN, all three parts of Noel Coward’s TONIGHT AT 8:30, in CLASSICSFEST 2006, 2008 and 2010. She is one of the Co-Artistic Directors of ANTAEUS. She is also a member of the award winning MATRIX THEATRE COMPANY where she has appeared in DANGEROUS CORNER (LA Drama Critics and Garland Awards and nomination for Ovation Award) and the West Coast Premiere of BOLD GIRLS. She has appeared in such plays as LAST SUMMER IN BLUEFISH COVE at the Tiffany Theatre and HAMLET with the UPRISING THEATRE COMPANY. She appeared Off Broadway in THE GREAT NEBULA IN ORION, AUGUSTUS DOES HIS BIT and THE LUGOSI TRILOGY. She has appeared in regional theatres around the country, notably in the American Premiere of Billy Roche’s THE CAVALCADERS at The Florida Stage Company.
