    Our guests for this episode of ON THE DEAN'S LIST include Yakko Warner, Pinky The Lab Rat and Dr. Scratch N. Sniff, from the Animaniacs, Raphael of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” Arthur in “The Tick,” the title role in “The Mask”, the title role in “Mighty Max,” Carl Wheezer in “Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius,” Jack Fenton in “Danny Phantom,” Bobble in the “Tinkerbell” DVD series and several more. All these are encompassed in voice over actor Rob Paulsen. 


    Paulsen quips, “I’m getting paid to do what I got in trouble for in the 7th grade,” He won a Daytime Emmy in 1999 as “Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program” for Pinky and The Brain and has also won several Annie Awards and DVD Exclusive Awards.


    Paulsen hails from Michigan, having been raised in Livonia and Rochester, and graduated from Grand Blanc High School. He is also a mentor for future generations of voice over artists, favorite guest at comic cons and tireless volunteer with several charities.

    Guest: Tod Carter & Joe Spadaford - Animation

    Tod Carter is an award-winning Director of Animation and Story Artist whose experience in animation and story development spans the entertainment industry from commercial work and series television and feature films.  Within the commercial industry, Tod has contributed direction and animation to dozens of national and local television commercials. Warner Bros Classic Animation and other well known clients. His credits include Quest For Camelot, Space Jam, Tiny Toons Adventures, Animaniacs,  commercials featuring the Looney Tunes characters. The Little Mermaid, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Tinkerbell Trilogy.  His animation credits include work for Dreamworks’ Home Video for Joseph, King of Dreams and Pocahontas 2  Disney. Joe Spadaford is a graduate of Syracuse University.  After college, Joe was invited by Big Idea Productions to work on the Jonah movie.  He was mentored by some of the industry’s finest artists including Michael Spooner, a long time animation veteran whose credits include; Disney TV, Quest for Camelot, Shrek, Lilo and Stitch, and Treasure Planet.  Joe started at Big Idea as a Prop Designer, working on over 20 direct-to-video projects until eventually becoming Art Director for The Wonderful Wizard of Ha’s  and  Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry  Larry's Big River Rescue.  Joe and Tod partnered on several children’s books for publishers such as Simon & Schuster and Scholastic.  Their portfolio continues to grow with projects for both CBNs Super Book direct-to-video series and books and video shorts for AWANA International.

    Wendy Reardon grew up in Hanover, MA, graduated from Hanover High in 1989, and then earned her BA in professional writing from Emerson College in 1993. During college she worked as a professional hand model for such companies as Hasbro, New England Telephone, Nordstrom, and Burns of Boston. After college Wendy moved to Los Angeles where she worked in production on Warner Brother’s Animaniacs and Batman: The Animated Series.

    She then moved on to Hanna-Barbera cartoons, where she worked in development, and began freelance animation writing for a variety of cartoons including DIC’s Action Man, Universal Cartoon’s Savage Dragon, and Nickelodeon’s CatDog, among others. During this time she also was the casting assistant for the Weird Al Yankovic Show, and, following that, became an exotic dancer. After two years she decided it was time for a new challenge, so she moved to England and in just one year earned her Masters in Medieval History from the University of Reading. Wendy's book, "The Deaths of the Popes", can now be ordered here from Amazon books and here from McFarland & Company. The price is $75.
