with all the news surrounding the Planned Parenthood baby parts scandal, it's a wonder we haven't covered the issue so far.
Truthfully, those in the know about this issue have been so busy and swamped with media themselves that I haven't been able to get them on the air.
At least, until tonight.
Stay tuned at 9-00 p.m. CT, as we devote the first hour of the Andre Controversa show to this gruesome but timely topic.
Our guest is Jim Sedlak, founder of Stop Planned Parenthood and vice-president of the American Life League.
Jim will give us a detailed overview of the three videos from the Center for Medical Progress, as well as the allegations they are making against PP.
Our second hour will feature Logan Albright, spokesman for Freedom Works, who will tell us why so many conservatives and libertarians are disgusted with John Boehner.
We will discuss the recent coup attempt by North Carolina Congressman Mark Meadows, as well as Mark Levin's bold statement urging Boehner and McConnell to resign.
That segment will cover the first 30 minutes of the second hour.
For now, we don't have anything scheduled for the last 30 minutes, so Jim and I will probably give our oh-so-eloquent commentary on the political scene.
If I get a guest for the last 30 minutes, I will send an update.
Please tune in at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa, starting at 9-00 p.m. Ct.

We'll see you this evening.

Tonight on the Andre Controversa show, we will be departing from our usual political fare to engage in a very literary conversation.
Joining us tonight is Dr. David Whalen, provost and professor of English at Hillsdale College.
Dr. Whalen will be sharing a list of recommended books for a summer reading list, including works by Annie Dillard, Hillarie Belloc, and John henry Newman.
And if you want to chime in and talk about your favorite books, please feel free to call in at 914-803-4350.
I trust that it will be much more interesting than anything you hear on National Pretentious Radio, otherwise known as NPR.
Please tune in at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa, at 9-00 p.m. Ct, for a lively and stimulating intellectual dialogue.
This is Andre Traversa, host of the Andre Controversa show at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa, also linked at www.libertarianrepublican.net.
Tonight's topic will be the SCOTUS same sex marriage ruling, with four guests weighing in on the issue.
As usual, conservatives were more willing to go on the air than liberals, but I did manage to get one moderate/liberal voice to join our panel discussion.
His name is Christopher Hale, and he is with Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good.
They have what they call a more "nuanced," approach to the ruling.
Also joining us is Travis Webber, religious freedom specialist at the Family Research Council, who will share his concerns about the ruling's potential impact on religious liberty.
The legal angle will come from Ken Connelly, legal counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom.
And last but not least, we will be jointed by the brilliant economics professor Jennifer Roback Morse, founder of the Ruth Institute, who will make her case for a libertarian defense of heterosexual marriage.
The show begins at 9-00 p.m. CT, and we're set up to run for two hours; but we may end the show early; I just don't want to be cut off the air right after the first 60 minutes.
I may add a few surprise guests at the last minute as well.
Please feel free to call in at 914-803-4350, and tune in at 9-00 p.m. Ct for another exercise in Controversa controversy.

Join us for the 207th edition of The Verbal Submission as hosts Brian Hemminger, Gerry Rodriguez and Richard Perry discuss the latest happenings in the world of mixed martial arts. We'll be talking this past weekend's Bellator 141 event and much, much more.
Our special guests will be Titan FC 35 fighters Andre Harrison and Dez Green, who are battling this upcoming September.
Heads up; we have a jam-packed show tonight, two hours of lively discussion, political commentary, and plenty of controversy.
Our show begins tonight at 9-00 p.m. Ct, with Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.
Congressman Rohrabacher will be discussing his opposition to patent reform legislation. Apparently meant to combat patent trolls, especially in the software industry, this legislation reaches farther and affects legitimate inventors as well. The congressman will be with us for 15 minutes.
Then, at 9-15, we will be joined by Ken Blanchard, a former marine and former pastor currently looking for a church. An African-American, Ken is author of Black Man with a Gun, and host of a podcast with the same title.
We will be discussing the Biblical justification for arming church members, as well as the historic roots of sympathy for gun control in the black community. This segment will carry for the show for the rest of the hour.
Our second hour will consist of a panel of social conservatives. The topic for discussion will be the 2016 presidential race. All three of our panelists recently attended the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference, where the major GOP candidates gave speeches.
Our panelists are: Teri Johannsson, Florida director for Concerned Women For America
Peter Jedick, author of How Democrats Bankrupted America: Who Did It and How to Fix It.
And our third panelist is Colorado State Rep Gordon Klingenschmitt, former Navy chaplain and author of THE DEMONS OF BARACK H. OBAMA.
These topics are all ripe for discussion, so please feel free to call in at 914-803-4350.
Tune in tonight at 9-00 Ct for two hours of lively intellectual stimulation.
The moment almost none of us have been waiting for is here. Floyd Mayweather fights Andre Berto this weekend on Pay-Per-View, for way too much money, under the guise that this will be his final bout. As you can see, we're really excited about the prospect of paying $75 to watch Floyd fight a guy who lost to Jesus Soto Karass and Victor Ortiz. At least the undercard (Badou Jack vs George Groves, Roman Martinez vs Orlando Salido II, Ishe Smith vs Vanes Martirosyan) isn't laughable.
Earlier Saturday on NBC, Peter Quillin fights a guy named Michael Zerafa (just go look on the internet yourself, trust us), and Cornelius Bundrage fights for the first time in about a year against Jermall Charlo.
Austin Trout fights tonight (Tues) on FoxSports 1, but on Friday light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson continues to face sub-par opposition when he defends against Tommy Karpency on Spike, from Premier Boxing Champions. Talented welterweight Errol Spence Jr. fights in the co-feature.
On CBS last Sunday from PBC, Anthony Dirrell won a ho hum decision over Marco Antonio Rubio, and in the co-feature Jamie McDonnell again defeated Tomoki Kameda by controversial decision.
It's been a mediocre year, as you all know. But there's news about Scott Quigg and Nonito Donaire being nearly finalized, some pointing and laughing to do about upcoming cards... And joining James Foley of Bad Left Hook and The Fight City's Patrick Connor once again this week is Matthew Swain of The Queensberry Rules.
Thanks for tuning in!

Guest host and artist Andre Juste was supposed to welcome Dr. Philippe Lerebours to discuss his life and legacy as an art historian but Dr. Lerebours was ill and will join us instead on October 23rd.
Instead Alice Backer interviewed Mr. Juste on recent shows of Haitian art in Paris, France: Haiti: Deux Siècles de Création Artistique at the Grand Palais and Hervé Télémaque at the Centre Pompidou. See the live tweet recap below.
