Andre Controversa Presents: Wedding Cakes For Gays and Fetal Homicide Bill

    in Politics Conservative

Hello everyone, this is Andre Traversa, otherwise known as Andre Controversa, spreading controversy wherever I go.

We have a packed hot show tonight, only an hour long, but with two hot segments.

Up first will be Melissa Klein.

Melissa is one of the first original bakers who bravely refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple and is being fined by an administrative law court in the state of Oregon.

No trial, no jury, no due process; just an un-American assault on religious liberty.

As many of you know, GoFundMe took down her account. Her company is called Sweet Cakes by Melissa.

But thankfully, she has found funding through an alternative site called Continue to Give, a service that helps people give to charities and Christian ministries.

We will have one of the founders of that ministry on the air as well. That will take up the first 30 minutes.

The second half of the show will be taken up by a hot debate. We will be joined by Kathy Alderman of Planned Parenthood Always Votes Colorado.

The topic will be the Democratic defeat of a fetal homicide bill. Opposing her on this issue is Polly Lawrence, Republican state rep and assistant House minority leader.

Tune in tonight at 9-00 Ct at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa.

Let's get some callers on this one. Please call in at 914-803-4350. I look forward to a hot show.

Andre Controversa Presents: Police Violence Against Blacks

    in Politics Conservative

Our show is only an hour again tonight, but this time we have a real debate going. The topic will be, police violence and murder rates in the black community.

Facing off sparring partners will be Sam Sinyangwe with Mapping Police Violence, and the Movement.org, and Ted Hayes. Ted Hayes has been a homeless activist for decades in Southern California, and is currently crusading against illegal immigration, which he sees as an assault on the black community, specifically as it impacts the descendants of chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors.

But he has plenty of opinions on this topic.

Feel free to call in at 914-803-4350.

Andre Controversa Presents: Civil Asset Forfeiture and Police Executions

    in Politics Conservative

We already have tonight's show lined up. We had a lively debate yesterday, and we're on a roll, so why not have another?

Tonight, May 14th, at 9-00 p.m. CST, we will once again address the sticky issue of police violence, with two distinguished guests. We will be joined for the first hour by Brandi Grayson, co-founder of a coalition called Young, Gifted and Black.

We will be discussing the recent police shooting of Tony Robinson in Madison Wisconsin. Our question for debate will be; Tony Robinson, police execution or act of self-defense? Brandi's sparring partner will be Derrick Green, a ministerial candidate and student at Fuller Theological Seminary, and a member of the black conservative group, Project 21. Let's hope it's a real dog and pony show like the last one we had; I'm up for some hot and heavy action.

Our second hour will focus on the despicable practice of civil asset forfeiture. Most of you at libertarianrepublican.net probably know that police departments, under the color of federal drug laws, have the right to seize money or property found on civilians, if they even suspect those assets were obtained illegally. A person doesn't even have to be charged with a crime; they are presumed guilty until proven innocent. With us to discuss this travesty is San Diego Attorney Michael Pancer, who defense multiple plaintiffs on this issue. He is scheduled for 30 minutes, but Jim and I can take up the rest of the hour chatting about current events and giving our wise and astute political commentary.
