    Lead Magnets: Your Ambassador

    in Business

If you have an online business such as an Inbox Magazine or a blog and you do not have a lead magnet, you are turning away customers by the boatload.

Even if your main business is a physical brick and mortar one such as a spa or bait store, you still need an online component and a great lead magnet.

In most cases, your lead magnet will be the first piece of content a subscriber/reader/member receives from you. This is where you need to put your best foot forward and make a great impression. This is where you show your potential customers why your business is different and better! You should think of your lead magnet as the ambassador for your business.

    The More Relevant, The Better

The beautiful thing about lead magnets is that you can change them at any time to make sure they stay current and relevant. The more relevant you make it, the better it will serve your subscribers, not to mention it will increase your conversions as well.

Think how Sports Illustrated markets their magazine and customizes their lead magnets. Most people who watch Spike TV are young guys, so Sports Illustrated might emphasize their swimsuit edition and swimsuit calendar. On ESPN, people are more interested in sports, so they might offer a commemorative Super Bowl football. In the winter, they might offer a fleece pullover. Same idea, different lead magnets. They're just customizing their lead magnet for each particular market and season.

People cho should listen to this show are entrepreneurs, career coaches

Ambassador O Joins Us In A Discussion About the State of Hip-Hop

    in Politics

On this episode of Field Afrikan Radio, Ambassador O of United Front will join us in a powerful discussion about Hip-Hop/rap music. We will discuss the roots of Hip-Hop to its current state. Does being "art" absolve rap music of accountablity for its message? Should Black people stand against the violence and misogyny portrayed in popular mainstream music? Are Afrikan-centered/militant/conscious people hypcorites when we support "negative" music? Should rap music predominantly reflect the positive aspects of Black culture? Can we take ownership of rap music back from the so-called Jews? We will be discussing these questions plus many more. We may even throw in some top 5 discussions. We will not bite our tongues on our opinions of the state of rap music, so if you're sensitive, you may not want to tune in. If not, join us in a powerful discussion. Respect.

Soul Ambassador MELVIN DAVIS visits This Side of the River - TONY COPELAND HOST

    in Music

Tune in for another Historic Segement with one of Detroit's music Legends MELVIN DAVIS!!

Excerpt taken from DETROIT METRO TIMES

    By Michael Hurtt

It's easy to overlook, or not hear, Davis' vast musical contributions, because this giant was unjustly somewhat under the radar in the '60s and early '70s radio mainstream. But he was certainly there all along. He's the impossibly funky drummer behind guitarist Dennis Coffey and organist Lyman Woodard on the legendary, sample-worthy single "River Rouge"/"It's Your Thing"; the evocative lead vocalist on the 8th Day's AM soul staple "You've Got to Crawl (Before You Walk)"; the songwriter who penned J.J. Barnes' desperate ode "Chains of Love," which — in the hands of Detroit rock band the Dirtbombs — served as the musical centerpiece of the 2007 Julian Schnabel art-house film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Songwriter royalties aside, Davis is still not a household name.
