"Is White Always Right? (Scenario #3) - COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS - David Glover

    in Relationships

When should you consider dating outside your race? If you continued to have failed relationships over and over within your race, should you try something new? Lets Look at Scenario # 3 Is White Always Right

Dion always liked his black sisters and never felt comfortable talking to white girls until he laid his eyes on Beth. Beth had recently started at Dion’s job at Dept of Motor Vehicles, and boy, was she stacked. Every time she walked by,  Dion thought “boy the things I would do to her.”

As time went on, Beth would always come to Dion’s work area to talk smack as if she knew she had a hold on him. One evening all the colleagues decided to go to a happy hour and Dion was invited; typically, Dion would decline because he was antisocial.

Beth told the coworkers she could convince him to come and she did just that.  While out, Dion and Beth remained close, drinking and laughing throughout the evening. Everyone was shocked to see Dion so content.

At the end of the night, once everyone cleared the parking lot, Dion and Beth went at it like nothing else matter to them. They acted as if they were not making out in a parking lot. When they returned back to work, Dion seemed more social and he even started dressing differently.

Beth had a lot of influence on him. She made comments such as "you are really white trapped inside a black man’s body, and if you are to get any place in life, you need to upgrade your standards and cut those ghetto black chicks out, they don’t deserve you."

Dion took her advice to focus strictly on Beth. There was one problem with this situation—Beth was engaged to be married to a white man.

What do you think of the new and improved Dion? And what do you think became of Dion and Beth?

"Marchless Madness" - COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS with The Controversial Counselor

    in Relationships

Welcome and Thank you for listening to COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS on KLJN Radio.

Who handles rejections better?  Men or women? Such as being sexually declined or denying someone an opportunity for a date.

On this episode of COCKTAIL CONVERSATION...We will analyze scenario #4 Marchless Madness

Giovanna met Floyd at the CIAA tournament last year and things became hot and heavy - mainly a lot of steamy getting self-acquainted conversations happened over the past year.

Giovanna planned to visit Floyd and had everything mapped out on how she would take him to this euphoric state and make him her man despite the distance between them.  Secretly, she wanted a change and would entertain relocating from Virginia to North Carolina.

The time has arrived for her to go to North Carolina and she made a trip to Frederick’s to seal the deal. When she arrived, Floyd left a key under his rug mat for Giovanna; she prepared some finger foods and made some grand marnier chocolate covered strawberries so the table was set or it sounds like she was trying to get set on the table.

Well when Floyd arrived and Giovanna was lying across the couch, leaving nothing for his imagination.  He looked at her and said I know you don’t expect anything to go down tonight? Giovanna was so pissed she got dressed and left within thirty minutes and headed back to Virginia at 10:00 p.m., a five-hour ride. How would you handle this situation?

"Fight Or Flight?" - COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS with The Controversial Counselor

    in Radio

Welcome To COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS on KLJN 107.7 with The Controversial Counselor, David Glover.  This is Scenario # 18 Fight or Flight from the book COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS:

Darvin was a dedicated dad and always stuck to his commitment of getting his four-year-old daughter Alisa. At times, Darvin and Alisa’s mother, Camille, had a rocky relationship because of mistakes they both made in the past, but never was he prepared for what Camille has in store for him.

It was Darvin’s weekend to pick up Alisa. When he went by Camille’s house, the place looked vacant, so off to Alisa’s grandmother’s house; and when she answered the door, she seemed to be cold with her statement “they’re not here” and shut the door. Darvin was confused; it’s not like Camille to not to contact him regarding Alisa. Darvin left several messages on Camille’s phone but no answer.

A week went by but he still has not heard from Camille or Alisa. Darvin was a wreck at work and spent his spare time crying at home. Darvin’s mother and his sister called Alisa’s grandmother and asked her “what the hell is going on.” Darvin has been too good to the baby for him to be treated like this; finally Alisa’s grandmother admits that Camille and Alisa have left the state and relocated to St. Louis.

When Darvin’s mother called to tell him the deal, Darvin burst out in tears; he was devastated, he just felt like dying. What will he do without his daughter, and what could possibly be the justification for Camille to leave?

"Take It To The Grave" - COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS by The Controversial Counselor

    in Relationships

Till Death Do us part? What does that really mean to you, I would like to break down a scenario Called Take it to the Grave

Leroy a 62 yr old had been married to Deborah for 42 years and they have been together since teenagers, she was truly his soul mate, the apple of his eye, the love of his life.

She died a few years ago due to breast cancer which was obviously very heart breaking to lose your wife, lover, best friend, and right hand. Leroy never thought he would considerremarrying but no one wants to live alone as they age and reach the 3rd phase of their life.

Leroy started dating Freda and eventually they got married a year later, Leroy made it very clear throughout their courtship, that Deborah will always be the love of his life and no one can ever replace her in his heart. In fact his one request would be if he passes before Freda that he would like to be buried right next to Deborah.

Freda honored his request because he passed away a year in to his marriage with Freda. Do you think that Leroy was wrong for putting his feelings out there regarding his first wife? If you were Freda would you had signed up for that deal?
