Is there a cure for cancer? Exploring the Gerson Therapy.

    in Health

    ASK YOURSELF...

Is there a natural cure for cancer?
Are pharmaceutical companies supressing cures because there is too much money to be made?
    Can food actually cure cancer?

Today on the show we have Education Specialist from the Gerson Institute, Harrison Reid.

The Gerson Therapy is a natural treatment that activates the body’s extraordinary ability to heal itself through an organic, plant-based diet, raw juices, coffee enemas and natural supplements.

With its whole-body approach to healing, the Gerson Therapy naturally reactivates your body’s magnificent ability to heal itself – with no damaging side effects. This a powerful, natural treatment boosts the body’s own immune system to heal cancer, arthritis, heart disease, allergies, and many other degenerative diseases. Dr. Max Gerson developed the Gerson Therapy in the 1930s, initially as a treatment for his own debilitating migraines, and eventually as a treatment for degenerative diseases such as skin tuberculosis, diabetes and, most famously, cancer.

Insulin Potentiation Therapy and Cancer - with Dr. Donato Perez Garcia, Jr.

    in Health

Insulin Potentiation Therapy is an alternative medical procedure used to treat cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases.  Developed and researched for over 80 years, IPT works on curing the body without damaging the body’s natural defenses.  Unlike traditional chemotherapy, it does not leave the body in a weakened condition, defenseless and unable to undergo the deep healing process necessary for complete recovery.

It started with the first Garcia, Donato Perez, Sr. a medical doctor and not in the best of health.  He suffered from anemia and malnutrition for a number of years, ignoring his own health to care for the many medical needs of his patients.  Until his condition affected his profession when he became sluggish and started losing weight due to loss of appetite and severe gastrointestinal problems.    He began to use IPT and within weeks was feeling better and regained his strength.    He began to explore how IPT could treat other chronic conditions and most importantly, how it could be used as a treatment for Cancer.

We have the distinct pleasure of interviewing Dr. Donato Perez Garcia, Jr. a third generation medical doctor who specializes in IPT.   This treatment was invented by his grandfather and then developed by his Father.   He has applied over 26,000 treatments to patients worldwide over a span of 25 years.

Breast Cancer Journey as a Graphic Narrative

    in Current Events

Breast cancer is not easy, simple or just like everyone else's experience.  It is unique, it touches every cell in your body and screams with all your emotions to pay attention and be present.  Why are we making such light of this process as the numbers of women who have gone through the disease say, 'oh, I did that, you'll do fine'. Have we minimalized the pain, suffereing, medical interventions, loss of self and damage to the physical and spiritual body?  Why is this becoming so ordinary?

Tina Martel is a visual artist and author of Not in the Pink which she has documented her personal journey with stage two B breast cancer.  She tells all; from the moment of discovery of the lump through all the treatments with details that many are so afraid of writing about or even voicing.  It is a raw book with details that we wished we did not want to ask as we are afraid of the answers, yet it is so important to know ahead of the process so that you may start your own healing with your thoughts and how your journey will play out.

This book is for those who are on any part of this path, for those who have loved ones on the path and even for those who are already on a different path as it is relatable and honest about Tina's life.  Sometimes what isn't voiced is more scarey than what is.  Take a risk and read this book with kindness and love in your heart for those who are on any health crisis journey.

Are You Sure You are Cancer Free?

    in Current Events

So many times we hear of people saying they see their physician every year or two and things are always 'great', no issues.  Then a few years down the road, they either have died or they are fighting the fight of their life.  Why?  How can that be if things were so good?  Did Cancer come up in the dark of the night and take me out?  Did it happen in just a week or month?  How did this happen?

Jenny Hrbacek, RN and author of Cancer Free! Are You Sure? will be sharing her cancer story.  Is it time to be proactive after the diagnosis and then scramble for solutions or potentially to look at your risk factors and do some testing prior to a life ending event.  Does your physician even know how to answer the question 'what can I do to see if I am on the road to a cancer diagnosis?'.  Jenny will be sharing about her book which is a bible for medical testing that can detect subtle changes in the cells, the biological terrain and the pH of the body.  Don't wait for the hammer to hit, listen for a few tests that may help you.

    Alternative Pet Therapies

    in Pets

Does your pet have health issues?  For most pet owners, they will eventually run into health problems affecting their fur babies.  When these problems arise, perhaps alternative pet therapies should be considered.  There are treatments such as accupunture, aromatherapy, massage, hydrotherapy, and reiki, just to name a few.  These treatments are available for humans, but how accessible are they for animals?  In this episode of The Missy Show, we will explore some of these methods of healing for animals, including safety, price, and availability of services.  Don't miss it!  Saturday, June 6th at 5pm Central.
