Hailing from Nashville, TN....Chase Allan is an extremely talented singer, songwriter and recording artist who has the vocal prowess to contend with some of the top Country, Pop and Rock artists. Chase's unique voice and music is allowing him to take country music to a brand new level. Recently Senior A&R Executive Chris Douglas of Virgin Records International quoted "Chase has an excellent new sound" Chase's profound impact in music is evident with Chase's most recent win of the 2012 Nashville Top Independent Male Country Artist of the Year Award.
Chase's desire to aim for the top is clear with who he has worked with such as studio engineers Pete Coleman (Jason Aldean, Montgomery Gentry, Lady Antebellum), David Hall (Lonestar, Kenny Chesney), Brandon Epps (Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's "Do You Wanna Stay") and Sam Martin. Aaron Chmielewski of Quad Studio and Georgetown Mastering. Some of the musicians Chase has worked with are Rich Redmond (Drums) and Tully Kennedy (Bass) of the Jason Aldean Band, Guitarists Chris Leuzinger (Garth Brooks), Kenny Greenberg (Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift), Tom Bukavoc (Keith Urban, Rascall Flatts), Adam Schoenfeld (Big and Rich, Jason Aldean).
Whether it's Chase's hard drivin' song "See Amazing" or heart touching ballad "You Say Goodnight", Chase and his band's live performance will take you on a journey that you soon won't forget. Chase Allan has definitely put the "Cool" in Country!!!

The story of Maroon communities in the Americas is one of the most important and fascinating chapters in the history of New World societies. However, it is a story that is not well known. Scholarly research and forensic archaeology are increasingly uncovering the evidence of Maroon settlements that have been a part of the US from the 1600s until the 1900s, but were hidden in plain view. Not only is little known about Maroon encampments established throughout the southern US, but our history books include little trace of the agency of Africans, who were forcibly brought to the US and enslaved, but employed military and diplomatic strategies in international relations, represented Native nations in negotiations with the US government, launched cottage industries, and built lasting communities long before the end of the Civil War.
Over Two hundred years ago, while the elite in New Orleans were making their usual preparations for Mardi Gras. Plantation owners were planning all-night parties, and the women of the house were looking forward to elaborate masquerades and balls.
What they didn't know is while they were planning for their annual carnival festivities, their slaves were planning a little something of their own.
On one fateful night, 500 armed slaves rose up from the plantations and set out to conquer the city.
Guests: Bill Katz of Urgent Agenda. Melanie Sturm, Think Again, The Aspen Times.
