On the newest episode, the guys review what they learned from the "Guinness International Champions Cup", in which Manchester United defeated Liverpool 3-1. Taylor does his best to discuss both sides evenly, while Daryl does his best to prod his counterpart into going off on a 45-minute ramble.
After that, the guys call up Pete Brownell of Opta to help preview the MLS All-Star Game (statistical analysis ahoy), give their Very Specific Predictions for the match, and even go head-to-head in a battle of "Competitive Lineup Guessing". It's all very exciting. So, tune in/download and enjoy! Oh, and the MLS All-Star Game kicks off Wednesday night at 9:30pm EST on ESPN2.

In the days before free agency, players took pride in trying to prove whether the National League was superior to the American League, and vice versa. That meant something to the likes of Bob Gibson and Frank Robinson and Roberto Clemente, who played hard for as many innings as possible to try to win the game.In the days before cable TV and the Internet, fans rarely had the opportunity to see players from outside of their home markets.
It was must-see TV. There were All-Star Game viewing parties.
That time is long past, of course. Bob Blubaugh Carroll Countytimes

Anticipated All-Star Game has city law enforcement cleaning out African Americans, Native Americans, poor whites and any other undesirables
Minneapolis mayor Betsy Hodges was glad to go with the increase of patrols in downtown Minneapolis. Her (mayor Hodges), civil rights department remained silent. With “equity” being the main talking point of mayor Hodges, under her current leadership, if you call it that, Minneapolis has seen an uptick in violent crimes in the warehouse district all the way into north Minneapolis. This does not hold well for visitors to Minneapolis during a time when political powerbrokers make it okay for Constables on Patrol (COPs) to tase a pregnant woman; beat local downtown club-goers, white and black and to make sure those Negroes get on the bus and bypass downtown Minneapolis.
Join the team of Ron and Don as we deliever the news in simple clarity on current events and items of interest that will make you "momma slap" you. We also follow up from last weeks program on the riot in north Minneapolis and call out the perps in that lie to the community.
Also this week, the National NAACP is at-risk of losing their spot for the 2015 NAACP National Convention, scheduled to be held in Philidephia, but sponsors do not want to touch any organization that has the smell of money on them from Donald Sterling. (A special guest from the East Coast will break it all down).
It's All Star Week, and as the #HomerunDerby comes to an end, and the #ASG on deck . . .
I'm mindful of all the meaningful memories I have that are centered around baseball. I remember when I was little and my bother would get so mad when his team would lose. I'd stay up, after he went to bed, just to see the final out, always believing that there was a chance that his team would win in the end. I never gave up, until that last out.
I wanted to play the 'Closing Argument' that didn't get to be aired earlier today, because I was waiting for the founder of @LawandBO to call in to the show. Sadly, I learned the reason he was unable to was because his mom had a stroke and doctors found a mass. I'm doing this special segment to air it now, and also share a prayer for my friend Tony, his mom and his family. I hope you'll join me in following @LawandBO, vote for his blog to be named in the top one hundred of ABA blogs, and just say a prayer for his mom. Thank you.
