Hear great perspectives from Joan Landes, mental health expert, Alice Linahan-slayer of new APUSH along with others who hopefully will give us a glimpse of concerns with the Common Core Approach and its developers. We hope you will be ready to tweet information, pictures etc so that more people will join us in the TSUNAMI that is growing to get rid of Common Core. Hear us talk about the implementation plan--Alabama Plan 2020 and hear aspects that will absolutely infuriate you (at least that's the reaction I see everytime). Parental Authority, Teacher's Professionalism are being set aside by powers that think they know better. Never mind the fact that the Math they now ignore sent men to the Moon and their version will actually lead to us having to import skills that do need workable advance math! Come learn with us--be sure to tweet using some of these hashtags: #alpolitics, #standinthegap, #APUSH ..Will list twitter handles for favorite folks here by tomorrow morn!
If you have not heard of Alice Linahan you are in for a treat tonight. Alice is part of http://womenonthewall.org/ which fights against Common Core with their #CanISee movement and lectures series. She is also part of Lisa Benson's National Security Communication Team supporting Israel and trying to get Hamas defunded. So you see she is busy fighting the good fight in a couple areas. Tonight we will talk mostly about her work against Common Core but there may be some other topics that come up.
Calls are more than welcome and encouraged for tonight's show. We will have a few things to knock around I am sure. After all we still have the same marxists attempting to destroy our country, unrest in Ferguson, immigrants flooding our border, President "Sound Byte"(© by Vito Esposito), etc.
If you know of a subject that we should be talking about or a guest that we should have on get in touch with @GulfDogs or @smokie_tx on twitter and let us know. We will see what we can do. This show is for us all. We are just the ones on the air.
Thanks for your continued support. We do really appreciate you all taking time out of your Sundays to tune in and take part in the chat room.

Guest Author Interview - Jennifer Harrison will talk about her new release "Perverse Wonderland."
Perverse Wonderland is a playful dark comedy and a romantic adventure tale for anyone who has ever loved and lost, or loved and found again. Jennifer Harrison's debut novel gives a voice to the type of women who, instead of waiting to be saved, can only rescue themselves. When our American heroine is abandoned by her English ''gentleman'' in a strange land of Pimm's and Jack the Ripper slumlords, the fairy tale is turned on its head after kissing Prince Charming turns him into an ''arse.''

Hear interview with Dr. Duke Pesta as he opens our eyes to some very important details in this nationalized education system that is being implemented. He is a nationally renowned speaker that can connect the dots for us on how the National Sexuality Education Standards will come in to the schools. We will be speaking with him and other Education Activists such as Alice Linahan of Women on the Wall, Ann Eubank of Stop Common Core Alabama will be dropping in to give more perspectives. One of the topics we will comment is on the latest tentacle of this nationalized system--the Comprehensive Counseling Guidance Proposal which uses the ASCA National Model. According to Linda Murphy, a nationally renowned Educator/Activist, who has studied Dr. Bice's Comprehensive Counseling Guidance -- "This is a dangerous expansion of the authority of public schools into the private lives of students, which has never been allowed in American schools. This plan sets goals for changes in students’ emotions, feelings, attitudes, values and beliefs. The area educators call the "affective domain" (from Blooms Taxonomy)."
