Andrew Alexander is an Entrepreneur, best-selling magazine publisher, and author of “I Am Not a Millionaire: Mindset Shifts from Failure to Financial Freedom”. First becoming an entrepreneur in 2011, Andrew’s most recent venture was a digital magazine publishing company that he started in October of 2013 and grew to over 700,000 readers in just over one year. This allowed Andrew to quit his corporate job and take multiple road trips across the United States, while living off of passive income. Andrew just started a new business – Limitless Academy. The goal of Limitless is to inspire people to wake up to their limitless potential, and provides the tools and education to help people clear their mental obstacles standing between them and success. http://Limitless.Academy/

Mo Alexander has played the comedy game for almost two decades and has headlined all over the country in top clubs and theaters. He has also opened for Keenan Ivory Wayans during his 1999 comedy tour where he was in the running with Wanda Sykes for the opening slot and Keenan chose Mo. He also had his own theater show, The Mo Funny show in Las Vegas with his partner in crime and comedy Matt Davis. In 2010 he participated in the San Francisco comedy competition where he missed making the semi finals by a .006 percent. Mo has also released 3 cd’s of original material (2000) The Mo Files, (2004) Evolution, and (2008) Nappy Headed Hoes and other Fcc Infractions, and one compilation (2010) Teabaggin. In Feb 2012 he was featured on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom radio program where he has been invited to return soon to earn the moniker of a Bob & Tom regular. Alexander's style is to offend those people and ideals that have offended him; ideals such as ignorance, narrow-mindedness and for that matter, the easily offended.

It is with great delight that I welcome two amazing Earth-lovers and environmental pioneers, Dr. Jim Conroy and Basia Alexander, Co-founders of the Institute of Cooperative Bio-balance. Jim is famously known as The Tree Whisperer. With Basia as co-teacher they offer Tree-Whispering workshops and courses all over the US and annually at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. There is now a series of Tree-Whispering books in addition to several other titles that include Live and Let Live: Collaboration with Nature to Heal Ecosystems. They are both sought for their marvelous keynotes and are freqeunt guests of various media outlets. During Hurricane Sandy they led a totally unique and cutting edge mission to help people save their trees. A book detailing these stories is available at their website. http://www.treewhispering.com/
This summary barely does justice to their inspired and inspiring work! I regard them both as visionary experts of nature-based communications, and am deeply honored to have them join me on April 15th, a week before Earth Day. It will be a lively and lovely hour listening to their story and welcoming your phone calls. We look forward to your joining us!

Belinda McBride is an award-winning, top selling author of erotic romance, speculative fiction and LGBTQ romance. She lives in far Northern California with her family and a pack of Siberian Huskies. Her main focus of study was classical and archival history, cultural anthropology and theatre arts. After several years in the workforce. Belinda purchased a laptop computer and from there, knew that her childhood dream of being an author would come to life. Belinda's books are available at all the typical distributors as well as on the publisher's homepages.

Get ready for an hour of candid, thought-provoking book and author talk. On this episode of the Literary New England Radio Show, we feature:
Jill Alexander Essbaum on her striking debut Hausfrau. Described as a 'modern-day Anna Karenina,' it's the story of 30-something Anna, an American living with her husband in Switzerland, who tries to pull her life together and find happiness through a series of new experiences, including German language classes, Jungian analysis and a series of sexual affairs.
Sally Hepworth on The Secrets of Midwives. Neva, a third-generation midwife, is pregnant and determined to hide the baby's father's identity. Yet her mother finds it impossible to let this secret rest. For Neva's grandmother, the situation sends her back 60 years to a secret that eerily mirrors her granddaughter's--which, if revealed, will have life-changing consequences for them all.
David James Poissant on The Heaven of Animals. Nominated for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction, named one of Amazon’s Best Short Story Collections of 2014 and recipient of numerous other awards and recognitions, this debut short story collection explores the tenuous bonds of devotion and family as each of Poissant's strikingly true-to-life characters are in some way tested by the often-brutal power of love.
We'll also help you get your read on for next week's Boston Marathon! We talk with Rachel Cass, head buyer at the Harvard Book Store, about unforgettable running books--fiction, non-fiction and those ideal for children.
Hosted by Cindy Wolfe Boynton. Visit the Literary New England blog for more book giveaways, author talk, event information and to listen to past episodes -- book-tatstic updates posted regularly!
