God, I feel like I've lived so many lives in this one life, I honestly don't know where to begin here...Ok, I've been in finance most of my life, I've had two divorces, the last one was about 15 years ago and I've been on my own ever since. I have had some crazy ups and downs, you know the typical dysfunctional life that many of us have lived, very rough dysfunctional childhood, bad marriages, the last one ending in restraining orders I had to put on him and moving 8 times in 2 years, unemployment, and walking around with a pain in my heart from all of this and feeling like a failure but pushing on, I never gave up because I always knew there was something awesome for me out there, I just had to find my life's purpose.

SPECIAL GUEST: Dr. Joyce Hogan, Author, Prophetess, Pastor
NEW BOOK! CHARACTERISTICS OF AN INTERCESSOR
There are many books available on the subject of prayer. But Characteristics of an Intercessor is not just about prayer. This book addresses the very nature and character of those who are called to Intercession. In a simplistic form, it shares the price that must be paid to become an effective Intercessor.
The characteristics discussed in this book are based on forty years of first-hand experience in the intercessory prayer ministry. And each chapter covers one of many qualities that need to be present in an Intercessor's life.
Characteristics of an Intercessor discusses qualities such as being one who seeks the Lord, one who is available, one who is humble and many others. This book will provoke God's people to become powerful and well-equipped Intercessors.
Dr. Joyce M. Hogan Serving alongside her husband, Apostle Kenneth D. Hogan, as senior pastors of Living Bread Church, Prophetess Joyce is known for her powerful prayers of intercession, her accurate words of prophecy and her humble spirit. She also has a strong anointing as a seer. God has given her awesome visions that have not only broken chains in her life, but the lives of many others. The power of prayer has been evident in her life for many years. As the only child of George and Maria Vasser, who were Pastors and Intercessory Prayer Leaders at Living Bread Church, she was exposed at an early age to the fruits of intercession. She exhibits a powerful anointing to minister the Word of the Lord and to usher in His presence. As pastor of the women’s ministry at Living Bread Church, “Cornerstone Women,” she ensures that women are given instruction, encouragement and fellowship for their daily lives.
I started my own bookkeeping practice and with the help of some great people, it got off the ground and now I have a successful practice but I still felt like there was something big missing. I mean I have a comfortable life, nothing extravagant but comfortable...but one thing I also was still carrying around was the pain of my childhood and the fact that after so many years, I hosted and helped to develop a TV show for the W Network called Maxed Out, which was about helping women with their money...and once we were granted second season, I decided that I wanted to return to my practice. I was still alone and it was getting unbearable. It was getting hard to put on the happy face and act like all was right with the world. My patience was virtually non-existent and I was tired of hiding how I was feeling deep down for everyone else's comfort. The turning point for me was the death of my father. He was the reason for much of my pain growing up and yet somehow he was also the only person that I could talk to as an adult, but the pain of everything I had lived was still always there...like a coat that I just couldn't remove, heavy and painful.
I lived like that for quite some time and 3 years ago, I went to Turkey, where I am from originally, and my cousin is a Reiki Master, and she treats cancer patients, she attuned me to Level 1 and Level 2 Reiki while I was there on vacation and I could instantly feel my energies shifting, and for the better. Once I got home I found a Reiki Master here and did the attunements again and took the full courses I didn't have the time to do on vacation. It changed my life but I got worse as I was facing everything and as the energies were shifting around and all that I buried was coming to the surface...I was falling into a depression and I didn't know how to stop.

Continuing our discussion on the smokescreens of the Baltimore riots...we addressed the cover-up smokscreens in Part One. The tactics used to distract the public away from the real problem by dangling other entertainment factors or shock value occurrences on the front page. Tonight, we examine the other side of the smokescreen fence--the token gestures made by the politicians, leaders, and legal system. The National Guard is moving out, the city of Batimore is prosecuting the cops for murder, and positive news stories of businesses rebuilding after being looted or bombed are splashed across our screens. Are these true attempts at genuine concern? Or are these simply pacifiers to make the protests come to an end? Join in tonight at 10:30 pm EST by calling 347-327-9967 with your thoughts.
On tonight's show:
Coverage and commentary on the latest with regard to the Baltimore Riots.
Some thoughts on the reaction to the riots in the media and on social media as well.
Some historical context with a look back at the 1968 Baltimore Riots.
As an impact of these events, should Governor Hogan, after dealing with this crisis, veto some passed bills in what has dubbed "The Year of the Criminal" in Annapolis?
