    Cassidy McMillan, Filmmaker of Documentary BULLIES AND FRIENDS

    Cassidy McMillan is an award-winning filmmaker who is currently directing and producing the critically acclaimed feature documentary on bullying, youth suicide, and a precedent setting court case on bullying, BULLIES AND FRIENDS. The documentary, which has been noted as an educational resource by the United Nations Association and academic organizations, is currently being prepped for worldwide release on DVD and TV. Cassidy McMillan made the film when she learned that teens were committing suicide due to bullying. She set out to make a difference with a film that presents solutions to bullying to teens and schools, and could serve as a learning tool in schools and communities. 


    Cassidy is also an actress in theater, film, television, and voice-overs and recently starred in a four week southern California production of the Tony Award-winning play "God of Carnage". Other acting roles in theater plays and musicals include "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Noises Off!", "Oliver", "Good Morning Miss Vickers". She's also produced and stage managed theater productions. She's a Member of the Screen Actors Guild, SAG-AFTRA, and has worked on productions for the Discovery Channel, AMC, Warner Bros. and additional shows and films.

    He has appeared in 14 + movies, and is known for his work on Jack the Reaper 2011, Intimate Agony 1983 and the Natural 1984. He has appeared on such shows on television as General Hospital, Bold and Beautiful, Young and Restless, Days of our Lives and more. David has done many commercials like Dos Equis Beer 1 & 2 and American Express. He also received stand in credits for The Natural –Robert Redford, Better off Dead – John Cusack, The Black Marble – Robert Foxworth, Moonlighting Pilot – Bruce Willis, Charlie Sheen, Tim Daly, Mark Harmon, Don Johnson, Peter Coyote, Howard Hessman, David Soul, Chad Lowe and more.

    Over the years David did hundreds of interviews with celebrities and had the articles published across the country. He loved having the opportunity to meet all these individuals and loved doing the articles on them as well.


    One of his 2016 goals is that now that he is retired he wants to again pursue his acting career as now he has more time to devote to it. He would like to again do some movies and be part of a soap opera. He also likes doing commercials and singing so that is another area he plans to pursue.

    Darren Aquino was born in the colorful neighborhood of East New York, where he was exposed to his Italian heritage. He grew up watching and tasting the cooking at Rao’s restaurant.  As a New York youth, he mingled with actors, saw productions of movies being filmed right on his block, all while being taught the resilience of his Italian background by his family.Darren was born with a disability. However, this did not keep him from accomplishing his goals. He learned from a very young age that he would have to work harder, persevere and continually optimize his skills.His experiences have led him to delve into a variety of professions, including, a chef of fine Italian food, acting, as a SAG AFTRA union actor in a variety of TV shows and films, a children’s book author, and finally, that which is closest to his heart,  a national advocate for disabled.Darren is a true New Yorker in that he has an endless amount of energy and is very passionate about social justice for the under-served, be it disabled, indigent or elderly.He began advocating for disabled in 1983, and incorporated a non profit, Advocates for Disabled Americans, Veterans, Police, Firemen & Families in 1999.   He has been preserving and protecting the inherent Constitutional right of the disabled nationwide ever since. Darren has continued to increase the awareness of the challenges and victories of the disabled.
