Alli knew from a very young age that she wanted to become a publicist. Working with Blog Talk Radio shows, blogs, and reality TV stars, she has experience in dealing with the media and has established some incredible relationships from networking. "For me, it is a passion. I enjoy the work that I do and I like helping people to create a buzz about their brand. It makes me feel even better when I see them achieving their goals through my help!" Offering services in media outreach, bookings for yourself or for other talent, and managing social media are just some of the aspects that she aids in.
In 2015, Alli partnered with CEO and founder LaToya Hurley of Innovating Marketing & Management. Together, they have produced events, managed reality stars and brands marketing campaigns, and devloped a strong network in the Houston, NYC, and California markets. "LaToya quickly became a mentor. She is ambitious, determined, and our work ethics match. Our relationship professionally and personally makes it very easy to handle the business needs as well as working with someone you genuinely admire and respect is a HUGE plus."

Many people talk about leaving their mark on the entertainment industry only to find space is limited. There are existing marks on the entertainment industry and they all read, Jameka S. Whitten was here. To call her a Renaissance woman is an understatement. And to think her storm has subsided is a huge mistake. She continues to shift the atmosphere with her fierce style, get-it-done tenacity and creative flair. Jameka served as the Co-Founder and former Executive Creative Director for SOTAC (State of the Arts & Culture) Magazine (now SOTACi) until her entrepreneurial flame was lit in 2007; and she decided to concentrate on nurturing her enterprise- JSW Media Group; a boutique public relations, marketing and brand management firm focused on the entertainment, fashion and publishing fields. In addition to owning JSW Media Group and serving as CEO, Jameka played an integral role as a founding member and former COO for Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports cancer research through music. Her most important philanthropic project to date is serving as a Red Pump Ambassador for The Red Pump Project™, a national nonprofit that raises awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls. In 2013, Jameka was hired to lead the communications and marketing efforts of independent label NuVybe Records serving the company as Executive Vice President, reporting directly to CEO, music industry veteran Herb Middleton. When not juggling the demands of entrepreneurship, Jameka wears the hat of a seasoned speaker/spokesperson for various commercial, editorial, event hosting and television/video assignments. She holds a bachelor’s in Communication Studies with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a master’s in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix. She is committed to philanthropic causes and esteems the idea of making a difference in the lives of others.

When you interview people, on occasion, you find someone you simply can't resist talking to again. William Galaini is that guy: he's an author, a genuine believer in craft, and a super nice, intelligent dude. I've been privileged to work with William as an editor and publicist since our last chat, and he and I can geek out about gaming and narrative for hours.

Check out tomorrow's interview with Isaiah Washington hosted by Ms. Lawrence the founder of Exposure Magazine and Celebrity Publicist
By Isaiah Washington
Actor and activist Isaiah Washington writes about the Baltimore uprising, his film ‘Blackbird,’ and the issues he finds most troubling with society’s stance on race.
The world associates the word black with bad.
The synonym for white is “good,” while the synonym for black is “bad.”
That is why I say I’m done being black. I’m African American. I have a proud heritage and proud ancestry—not unlike Chinese, Irish, El Salvadorian, English—and that’s not getting promoted. It hurts.
At first look, you may not see the connection between the three pieces of content I want to share with you below: an interview about the Baltimore uprising and Black Lives Matter, the marketing campaign behind my pro-LGBT film Blackbird, and a masterfully crafted op-ed by a black lesbian by the name of Danielle Moodie-Mills.
