Scaling the Human Factor with Employees
Among a brand's best champtions are its employees. Social is always about relationships and building trust. It’s people to people interaction. Research shows that customers trust people like ourselves far more than executives. So how do we turn employees into powerful, socially engaged advocates? Join me June 12th for a great conversation with author Chris Boudreaux.

As an executive at a global consultancy, Chris is a globally recognized thought leader in social and digital technologies, operations, and governance. A few weeks ago former New York Mayor, Mike Bloomberg committed $50million toward a gun control campaign. Bloomberg's desire is to see gun control enacted in America. He has the funds to work on making it happen. Gun control advocates, now is the time to do your thing. Do your research! Penetrate the public with gun facts about their own back yard. Share by location with the public how their own elected officials feel about gun control. Keep the faces of the children before you and those who are against gun control. Come up with win-win solutions. You must do your homework. You must give people a reason to not just agree with you, but a reason to push the powers that be. Push all politicians. Push the SCOTUS. Push gun manufactures and their lobbyist. Push civil rights groups. Remind them how we overcome loss of lives of innocent children in 1960s America. Come up with solutions. Back up others who are advocates of gun control. Set goals to be part of this gun control campaign.
BeeSays: Bloomberg is willing to shale out $50million as least 50million Americans should stand up, speak up, and act out the cause in the name of the lost lives of innocent children and to prevent more lost lives of innocent children. America, we owe it to the children for them to be able to live out their youth without daily threat of running from schools in fear because masses of adults choose to do nothing.
On tonight's show - 11 PM Eastern - Christopher Driscoll and Thomas Baldwin of the Election Boycott Advocates join me to talk about their efforts and address many of the FAQ's.
I know how mentally and emotionally invested many people are in the system but perhaps there is another way forward that doesn't involve rubberstamping one of the two major party candidates each cycle. I am looking forward to hearing their reponses, reasoning and evidence. This will be a very good discussion, especially for all those who keep voting each cycle and keep getting much much less than what was expected.
I think the Election Boycott Advocates are on to something here. We won't be talking about "Electoral Politics" - as in - who is right or wrong or better to lead us - or who is lesser evil or who is bat shit crazy. We will be talking the goals and usefullness of the boycott movement and what things might look like down the road.

Feel free to share this with your friends and enemies alike. And remember, "A closed mind always says no." Why not open it up for a while and come hear what the Boycott Elections Advocates have to say?
It's Sunday, October 26th, 2014, and it's time to welcome the Election Boycott Advocates to Carson's Corner. It's been a very interesting week for the Election Boycott Advocates. Despite the fact that the Democratic Underground, a major website dedicated to promoting one faction of the business party, the Democratic Party, banned the Election Boycott Advocates after just one post, other sites have begun to take notice. The point is clear: the Election Boycott Advocates are gaining steam and are not going away, despite the wishes of those vested in the political system. As cohost Christopher Driscoll said on this program last week, it's starts with non-compliance. We will not participate in phony elections to prop up a corporate government for the ruling class. We will no longer march with our oppressors. We are on a mission to spread non-compliance.
This week, Thomas Baldwin, Christopher Driscoll, Harry Cason, member/supporter of the Zeitgeist Movement, will continue to have the discussion on how to change our system. Should we become more of a social democracy and increase the amount of social systems in America? Should we completely move beyond capitalism and bring democracy to ownership and the workplace? Build our own institutions? All of these solutions are certainly valid, and will be discussed in greater detail. We also welcome any and all calls. Unlike other shows, we don't screen callers. We welcome any point of view on the air. Make sure to join us at 9pm est.

Fresh off of the huge article in the Greanville Post, the Election Boycott Advocates are back on Carson's Corner for another 2-hour lively debate/discussion. Last week, much of the discussion during the first hour centered around whether 3rd parties can produce meaningful results in the system, and the idea that the Election Boycott Advocates are doing nothing to change the system. First, as was pointed out by cohost Chris Driscoll, working class 3rd parties have had little success in electing anything other than a handful of people. Part of the reason our voter turnout is so low in America, is that people realize they don't have a real choice in elections. Unlike in other countries that have a much higher turnout, there are no working class parties in America. In fact, not only is there no working class party, as Noam Chomsky points out, the term "working class" is taboo among the ruling class. The working class in America is suffering a class-based assault that cannot be discussed in the corporate media.
As for the idea that the Election Boycott Advocates are not doing anything to change the system, Thomas Baldwin notes, the group is putting out statements that seek to explain why our system is so corrupt and how participating in the system will not lead to favorable results. Such statements have been picked up by websites, including the Greanville Post, which has the Democratic Party nervous. Parties, institutions, and vested individuals have a lot to lose by tearing down the system-we the working class people do not. The billionaires have choices- we do not.
Tune in at 9pm EST.
This week on Autism Spectrum Radio we are looking at some of the remarkable efforts by parents for parents. Parent advocates in communities all over the country are creating offerings that help facilitate education and access to much needed resources.

It has been over one month now that the Election Boycott Advocates have been appearing on Carson's Corner, and with each week, the message is getting louder. More and more websites are covering the Election Boycott Advocates on Carson's Corner, as it is the only place where this sort of resistance is taking place. Last week, Election Boycott Advocates welcomed Jeff Howard, occupier, activist and Obama supporter to the show, and Harry Cason, member/supporter of the Zeitgeist Movement, and Thomas Baldwin, election boycott advocate and blogger. What ensued was a passionate debate/discussion that didn't tear the parties apart, but rather solidified the parties around the notion of an ongoing debate and the dire need for change. This week will be no different, as hosts Bob Carson and Christopher Alan Driscoll welcome the same panel, Jeff Howard, Thomas Baldwin, and Harry Cason to the show, plus a new panelist, Jill Dalton.
Here is Jill Dalton's bio: Jill Dalton is a writer/actress/army brat/activist/truth teller. She can be seen in and consulted for William Hurt on the HBO film, Too Big To Fail, about the global financial meltdown. Her articles have appeared @ Dandelion Salad, OpEdNews, RSN, NationofChange. Her eBook, Is It Fascism Yet? is available on amazon.com. Her play, Collateral Damage, was a semi finalist at the 2014 O’Neill Playwrights Conference.

Our guest is Susan Wagner, President and co-founder of Equine Advocates. Founded in 1996, Equine Advocates has helped rescue thousands of equine from slaughter, abuse and neglect.
Equine Advocates originated and participated in many televised and print undercover investigations in the U.S. and Canada to expose horse slaughter auctions, horse slaughterhouses, the tragic fate of most camp horses, the abusive treatment of many mules, buggy horses and work horses by some Amish farmers, the miserable lives of PMU mares who are continually impregnated and turned into 4-legged drug machines to produce the drugs, Premarin, PremPro and Premphase, the cruel urban carriage horse trade and other informative reports exposing equine abuse and other forms of exploitation.
In 2004, Equine Advocates opened the Equine Advocates Rescue and Sanctuary on 140 acres in Chatham, NY, now home to 85 equine (with 3 wild horses, including Hayden, who was rounded up by the BLM in Montana). In 2006, they opened the Equine Education Center, where they hold lectures and symposiums on equine care, humane treatment, natural horsemanship and the enforcement of the cruelty laws. They also host the annual American Equine Summit.
