If there was someone that I wanted to confide in I would seek out for that help.
It's not good to hold onto something that does not allow you to be happy.
If ever there was a time for you to be a familiar person seek out what makes you the happiest and go for it.
That would contain any thing that changes your emotions to character adjusting.
Seek and you shall find it.
Tonight we are talking about growing older and how it affects us. We live in an age where people seem obsessed with staying young and living forever. But the truth is we all age.... and age can be a positive and negative experience.
You know you're getting older when you've heard yourself say, "Because I told you so!"
There are 3 Ages of Men and Women: youth, middle age, and you look good!
Remember when...memory was something you lost with age. An application was for employment. A program was a TV show. A cursor used profanity. A keyboard was a piano, A web was a spider's home. A virus was the flu. A CD was a bank account. A hard drive was a long trip on the road. A mouse pad was where a mouse lived and if you had a 3-inch floppy . . . You just hoped nobody ever found out!
So let's talk about growing older, adjusting to life changes and how this affects our love relationships.

Your hosts, Cheryl-Perry Lewis & Shannon Harvey Szatkowski and Trisha Camacho will be reconnecting the Torah to the Gospel as did the bereans before them. They will be comparing "Scripture to Scripture" showing that Yeshua and the Apostles were not revealing anything new because, the WORD is just true. They will also be interviewing special guest.
This week they will continue their discussion with Sukkot Prepper on off grid living, being mortgage free, adjusting to living in smaller places and much, much more. Save the date and time and get ready to have a good time.
They are deeply in love, but they are driving each other crazy with their personal habits. He constantly leaves the toilet seat up. She leaves her clothing strewn all over the bedroom floor. He's an early riser, and blasts the TV first thing in the morning. She likes to sleep late, and needs peace and quiet until she's ready to get up. They had no idea the little things they do around the house would cause constant arguments. Are you struggling with adjusting to your loved ones' habits? How do you learn to live together in harmony when both of you have your own way of doing things? When couples marry and try to merge lifestyles, often it's the little habits that cause the big arguments. Some say people should live together before marriage. But can "playing house" really prepare you for living with a spouse? How do you compromise when it comes to agreeing on household etiquette?

Many people in recovery struggle with both alcohol AND food disorders. This issue is so common you often hear food addiction referred to as a "sister" addiction to alcoholism.
We have had many requests for a show that addresses the particular challenges for people in recovery who struggle with both, so we are thrilled to welcome Alison Ross, LMFT to our show!
Alison is a licensed psychotherapist and the Founder of Center for Eating Recovery where she helps women and men of all ages heal their relationship with food and become body-confident. In addition to her work at the Center, she is a consultant for Harmony Place a drug and alcohol treatment center, and formerly Beit T’Shuvah, where she helps to create an environment in which women can heal their relationship with food and body while adjusting to sobriety.
On the show, Alison and Carissa, an Eating Coach at the Center, discuss three cultural narratives that keep us stuck in food addiction and body image distress and how to break free and get healthy from the inside-out.
