A common argument you will hear from many who support the legalization of prostitution is that it "eliminates" trafficking. You will hear people say that the brothel system "removes" the pimp, gets the girls off the streets to where they are "safe" from harm, and that it also eliminates the risk of disease to both the client and the prostitute. We all know that often "theory" and "practice" can be two different things so we have an interview with Aubrey - a woman who worked in a Nevada brothel. Hear Aubrey speak about being raped both by clients, her own husband, and even more than one "on duty" sheriff. Aubrey was also told that she could not work at the Bunny Ranch unless she spent three days "partying" with Dennis Hof for free first. There's no other job in the country where it would be legal to require a three-day long orgy first as a job requirement. This interview explains why TAPS had presented the Nevada legislature with a letter on behalf of survivors asking that (1) the women who are applying for a license to work at the brothels receive an educational workshop first that also gives them hotlines to call for help when they are ready to quit sex work so they are warned about what they are about to walk into, (2) an exit strategy.
Forced psychiatric drugging is on the rise in America. Find out why and what you can do to fight it!
Sophie Faught, MindFreedom Communications Director, talks about forced drugging in the psych system and the dangerous precedent of proposed legislation in Texas: HB 2212, which makes forced outpatient commitment possible in Texas.
Her feautured guest is Lise Zumwalt. Ms. Zumwalt has been making documentary films for 25 years for National Geographic Television, PBS, WNET, BBC, The History Channel and Discovery traveling from South Africa to the Baltic and from the Canadian Rockies to the South Side of Chicago. In every film, Ms. Zumwalt looks for the opportunity to reveal human character and gain insight into how public policy affects our lives. That's Crazy, Lise's first feature film documents one man's decision to take his treatment into his own hands, defying a commitment order and an order to treat while searching for recovery.
Sophie will also be joined by MindFreedom member Ryan, a survivor of outpatient forced drugging. He will lay out the threat to our liberties posed by the expansion of forced drugging laws in this special edition of MindFreedom Radio dedicated to the topic of forced outpatient drugging.

We will dedicate the entire two hours to the discussion of abortion and the Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice debate. We will cover everthing from Gosnell and infanticide, to third trimester abortion, second trimester abortion, 1st trimester abortion, extremely early abortion, the morning after pill, and abortive methods of birth control.
Most people think they know what they believe on these issues but are not educated on the facts. Is what Gosnell did rare? Is there anything safe or rare about abortion?
On May 24, Lucian Vâlsan, Huffnágel Pista and James Huff will be talking about the issue of abortion and legal parental surrender (also known as financial abortion). A fetus is a life or not depending on what the mother wants, whilst the father is not even considered until the child is born and at that time, the man has only responsibilities and virtually no rights. Is this indeed fair to men? Let’s talk.
Considering the recent case in Tampa and also the horrific experiment of Decre?ei, The Voice of Europe considers that there is a need for a sincere talk about reproductive rights for men and about Legal Parental Surrender.
The subject is tricky so please join us and call in at (001) 310 388 9709, or Skype in, after the news.

The topic of abortion usually ends up killing any respectful or sane discussions. It brings up powerful emotions for people, regardless of political or religious persuasion. We're gonna rock this topic tonight. Dr. Darius hosts for your listening pleasure. Ms. Elektrick says, "I hate that our show on abortion is under the 'politics' tab."
Tony's guest's on tonight's show include Christian rapper Jovan Mackenzy, and abortion abolitionist (and full-time mom) Shauna Lopez.

Talking to your young children about bullying, being safe with strangers or dealing with prejudice is not an easy topic for anyone to discuss. When lawyer Frederick Alimonte (AlimonteBooks.com) searched for books on these challenging topics he couldn't find what he was looking for so began writing his own books for his children to learn.
Inside Out deals with bullying but is written as a fantasy. Sally Simpson, a middle-school “Queen Bee” who seemingly has everything, delights in bullying a quiet girl in her class. One morning, Sally awakens and finds herself physically transformed – she now wears her “inner beauty” on the "outside". Frightened by her now-hideous appearance, she is transported by a bus to her school, Inside Out, where she sees her friends who have also been transformed. She is thus forced to see where true beauty lies and discovers that in fact, the girl who was the target of all her bullying is actually the most beautiful of all.
