Dave and Jim interview James Browning Jr.

    in Religion

The Apostle Paul was told that “Jesus’ Grace was sufficient for him,” which is something that we sometimes forget. James Browning Jr. is a living example of the Grace that Jesus talked about. He was saved at the age of 18 yet he couldn’t kick his cross dressing habit for 34 years knowing that it was sin. In 2013 God told him that his lifestyle was an abomination and he was set free from his sin.

James is an avid “sci-fi nut” for years. He met Jim in Roswell around 2000. In 2004 he wrote a poetry book on the supernatural nature of God. He’s currently writing a book to help other cross dressers to come to freedom. He serves as a deacon in his church and operates in the spiritual gifts; and he’s a prayer warrior to boot! Come and listen as we interview James and hear about what God has done in his life and through his testimony. The show airs today (Saturday) at 6PM Pacific and 9PM Eastern. Feel free to call in at (619) 768-7259.

SWAG Radio Presents: Authoress Miz T

    in Books

This evening we will be talking with Authoress Miz T.

    About the Author

Teresa Mason Browning is a woman of true insight and a lively spirit.  She is the author of two bestselling novels, “Why I Kept My Past A Secret” and “Now That The Secrets Are Out” and has traveled many places as a motivational speaker. Her latest releases, “Living Free of the Secrets” and “A Black Man’s Pain”, are soon to become national best sellers as well.  Teresa was born in Oklahoma, but was raised in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. She now resides in South Carolina with her significant other that helps keep her the jovial woman she is today.

    From the Author

What I enjoy most as a writer is the joy that others receive from reading my novels.

I had to learn the business of becoming a writer from the ground up.  I have gone through some scrapes and bruises but found that if you keep God first you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. The words “No” or “Can't” have never been an option for me.

I first discovered my passion for writing at the early age of 13.  I would sit alone and write for hours about my thoughts, dreams and the people around me.  I wrote in my private journal every day.  After many years had passed I decided to take my journals and put my thoughts in book form.

As a self-published author, I actually didn't start putting my work together for a novel until my children were in there last few years of high school, so it was very easy to find time to capture my thoughts.  My children were very supportive in my goal of becoming a writer.

Lourdes Colon’s “Create Option C” Documentary

    in Self Help

Join us on the Success Solutions Live radio show Thursday, September 4th at 2:00 pm CT as we welcome guest Lourdes Colon’s to discuss her award-winning documentary, “Create Option C: My Journey With Cancer.” - One Woman’s Courageous Plan to Overcome Cancer.

Actress Lourdes Colon was at the height of her career in 2010 when she received the ultimate death sentence—she was diagnosed with stage 4, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It was as if a nuclear bomb had exploded within her and engulfed every inch of her body. It would take a miracle of miracles, and the film and television rising star knew it.

Colon’s unique approach to overcome the deadly disease is chronicled in the groundbreaking film, Create Option C: My Journey With Cancer. Instead of shriveling up and surrendering — Colon’s life-threatening challenge—turned her into a researcher, nutritionist, spiritual guru and then a filmmaker. She had always wondered what her contribution to humanity would be and now she knew. She would communicate all that she was learning by filming each step of her battle as she forewent traditional western cancer treatments and instead adopted a treatment that included alternative medicine, organic nutritional and spiritual lifestyle. She would bare it all while filming the fight that she would either win or lose.

“Option C is to do the research, take the fear out of the equation and find out what works best for your body to cure its cancer,” Colon explained. “We are proud to have the opportunity to present such a significant film,” said LHMI, Executive Director Bel Hernandez, “What Lourdes has been able to capture with this documentary has such a powerful message. It also faces head on the controversy of choosing non-toxic cancer treatments.”

    Blessed Living Podcast_ 11_Introducing_Issue_4

    in Christianity

Introducing the newest issue of the FREE Blessed Living Women's E-Magazine, publisher Jill Bond briefly describes several articles.

Issue 4 -- When Life Hurts is available world-wide via www.blwemag.com

Let’s admit it. Sometimes life just hurts. Sometimes we’re immersed in physical pain. While at others the pain is more emotional. The worst pain to me is always spiritual pain – especially of my own making.

But the good news in all of this is that God provides answers for us. When it is physical pain, through prayer and Bible study we can discern what actions He wants us to a take. With emotional pain, as in deep grief, only He can sustain us and get us through it. And with spiritual pain, that amazing, sacrificial blood of Jesus cures it all. That pain, though the worst for some because they seem to cling to it as if it were a lifesaver, can be the cause of so much joy for those who hand it over to Christ. He can take that hurt and transform it to purity, forgiveness, and redemption.

Sometimes the pain lingers, sometimes the pain dissipates, and sometimes it just disappears instantly. But in each and every instance of hurting, God can work a mighty work in who we are as people.

Join our writers in this issue as they learn more about our loving Abba Father who works miracles when our lives hurt.

Our Sister-in-Focus, Louise Carson, has triumphed marvelously with a life filled with complications and pain and yet, her praises reach His throne room.

We introduce several guest writers: Donna Conner, Krista Browning, and Emily Kirby. To give you some emotional white space, we add some practicality with apple recipes, soaking solutions, refurbishing examples, bread tie uses, computer fixes, and a custom nativity set plan. Our staff fills in the rest with articles.
