Gwendolyn Denise Lewis was born and raised in Houston Texas. After graduating high school in 1983 she moved to LA to pursue a career in acting. While in LA she met up with her now ex-husband Terry Lewis of which she had met previously in Texas at a Prince concert. In 1984 they moved to Minneapolis Mn and got married. Her daughter Chloe was born that same year. Being married to Terry Lewis gave Gwen great opportunities to sing background vocals for Alexander O'Neal,Janet Jackson and many other secular artist. Gwen even sang background on the theme song of the hit comedy show "In living color". She divorced in 1991,her life began on a downward spiral out of control. Gwen began looking to the world to fill the emptiness she felt inside. This resulted in a string of mental and physical abuse relationships. In 2003 she began seeking and exploring religions. On Easter Sunday 2003 Gwen attended services at Bread of Life church in Minneapolis Mn and gave her life over to the Lord and from there started her new journey of getting to know God personally. Best decision she ever made. In 2004 Gwen had her second child Jazmine. Being a single mom terrified Gwen but she knew with her new relationship with God all she had to do was pray and ask him to see her through it. In 2008 Gwen started to write songs about the love she found in Christ. In 2010 God placed it in her heart to do her first gospel album. Gwen's desire with this album is to bless the lost, abandoned, and seemingly hopeless with Gods love through her music. Even though this has been a tough journey with putting together this album Gwen has never lost faith that Gods purpose and plan for her life will be fulfilled.

Professionally, Karen has spent her time pursuing two passions: being of service and the performing arts. After graduating from the University of Delaware, Karen worked in Student Affairs for both SUNY and Pennsylvania State University, as well as with Libetae, a woman's halfway house in her home state of Pennsylvania.
During this time, Karen also continued to perform on stage, eventually moving to New York to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, and working as an actress for several years after that.
In 2006, Karen's two passions were brought together in one job when she was hired as the Assistant Director of EAG. Shortly after, in 2008, Karen was named Executive Director. Since NJ is the Garden State, Jersey Fresh takes on a special meaning for those who choose to buy their fruits and veggies locally. Seasonal abundance can be found at the scores of farmer’s markets throughout the state. What’s that you say? You don’t know where to find the nearest farmer’s market and don’t even know the difference between an acorn squash and a fava bean? And how do I cook rhubarb and what do I do with all those blueberries? Problem solved. Chef and culinary instructor Rachel Weston is on the case. Weston is an award-winning journalist with over 20 years of experience as a writer, editor and multimedia content producer. Her work has been in The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, The Gutsy Gourmet column in The Star-Ledger, NJ.com, and Chow.com among others. In 2008, Rachel followed her passion, attended culinary school, and ultimately worked the line at a fine dining restaurant, and was the founding chef at the first pay-what-you-can community cafe on the East Coast. Rachel’s book is New Jersey Fresh: Four Seasons from Farm to Table. It’s a collection of recipe ideas and tips for over 50 types of locally grown produce available at NJ farmer’s markets. She spotlights several markets and offers insights on fruits and veggies, from bok choy and fava beans to blueberries, corn, tomatoes, and peaches. Rachel takes the guesswork out of buying locally and is committed to teaching home cooks about using local and seasonal foods in their kitchens. “I wanted it to be a guide you could throw in your market bag,” she says. The book includes a listing of over 100 farmer's markets in NJ. After the interview, check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.
Do you often find yourself feeling lost, alone, overwhelmed and unsure how to help yourself, much less someone else in your family?
Would you like to see that someone else has walked this path, so you can? Me too. There is HOPE…
My name is Susan Burfoot Mead and I’ve been blessed to be married to my soul mate, Holt Mead, since 1979. I think the first 30 years we spent working on learning what soul mates are…Or should I ask him if we are still working on that?
I am the mother of two sons, Matthew, who lives in South Louisiana and Kyle, Forever 20 and in Heaven, where he is doing a Dance with Jesus. Kyle’s been there since March 29, 2008.
I wrote the book Dance With Jesus: From Grief to Grace as the answer to a question posed in the Experiencing God Bible Study I was in the midst of doing. The question asked was what does God want you to do, right now?
I heard deep in my spirit, “Sing My love song.” And laughed out loud. Seriously God, You will have to send me a bucket, because You KNOW I can’t carry a tune. Then the next deep spiritual nudge was, “What’s in your hand? Use it.” I was writing in the workbook, so a pen was in my hand…
I swept away the workbook, got out a clean journal and out the story poured. At 5:30 am, I looked up as I wrote the last words. The very first email I read later that day was from Proverbs 31 Ministries about their upcoming SheSpeaks 2013, a speakers and WRITERS conference. Seriously God? You WANT me to DO something with this? OK.
So the story begins…
About the book:
Ever wondered why you’re feeling out of balance, stressed-out, sick, and exhausted but still can’t sleep? Western medicine often ignores the underlying issues that can lead to fatigue, illness, and disease, but there is a way to revitalize your body and mind without drugs or dangerous side effects. Ayurveda, the “science of life,” is a complete wellness system that includes all that we associate with medical care — prevention of disease, observation, diagnosis, and treatment — as well as self-care practices that are generally absent from Western medicine. This truly holistic approach considers not just diet, exercise, and genetics but also relationships, life purpose, finances, environment, and past experiences. In this thorough and practical book, Michelle Fondin guides you gently through self-assessment questions designed to zero in on your needs and the best practices for addressing them, such as eating plans, addiction treatment, detoxification, and techniques for improving relationships. She outlines steps you can take, with minimal cost, to heal common ailments such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, excess weight, anxiety, and depression. These time-tested methods for body, mind, and spirit wellness offer benefits to anyone at any age.
About the author:
Author of The Wheel of Healing: An Easy Guide to an Ayurvedic Lifestyle and owner of The Ayurvedic Path Yoga and Wellness Studio since 2008, Michelle Fondin practices as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, yoga and meditation teacher. She holds a Vedic Master certificate from the Chopra Center and has worked with Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon at Chopra Center events teaching yoga and meditation.

Southern Sense is a show of conservative talk on news and events, with Annie "The Radio Chick" Ubelis as host and Dan Butcher, Pundit Press as co-host.
Guest: Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, better known by the nickname "Joe the Plumber", is an American conservative activist and commentator.
Joe (#the Plumber) gained national prominence when he asked then presidential candidate, Barack Obama, a question about his tax plan. The conversation was captured by an ABC cameraman and Joe's life would never again be the same. His story came to symbolize the idea of "spreading the wealth" in the 2008 presidential campaign.
Through massive amounts of mud-slinging and name bashing, Joe never backed down from his principles. To this day he continues to fight for the working man so they have the opportunity to fulfill their true American Dream.
This show is dedicated to: Detective Kerrie Orozco, Omaha Police Department, Nebraska, End of Watch: Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Our mission is to share the uncompromised Word of God, to teach Christians how to operate under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and how to do deliverance by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
