Did you ever wonder how you would feel running the NYC Marathon?
This program is taking place 4 hours and 30 minutes into the NYC Marathon and I will be broadcasting as i am running and with a little luck, a lot of training and with the help of Rebecca Norrington my guest co-host we will cross the finish line on air.
in 1991 and 1992 I ran the Marathon with a finishing time of 4:20 and 4:40. Assuming the same times, maybe a little slower as I am 21 years older you and I should cross while I am on air.

As East's reputation grew on the L.A. session scene, so did his job calls. From that point on, East worked consistently. He toured with Loggins appearing with the singer at Live Aid in 1985. Eric Clapton heard Nathan and invited him to join his band. With keyboardist Greg Phillinganes and drummer Phil Collins, they toured the world over and performed multiple concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall which resulted in the release of Clapton's "24 Nights" CD, (1988). With Clapton, he would go on to record numerous CD's including Journeyman, August, Behind The Sun, Pilgrim, Reptile and the Multi-Grammy Award winning multi-platinum Clapton MTV Unplugged CD.In 1990, while in the studio recording Bob James' Grand Piano Canyon album, the keyboardist asked East, Lee Ritenour, and Harvey Mason if they'd be interested in forming a group where each member would be an equal partner and could contribute songs. James, who at the time held an executive position at Warner Bros.' jazz A&R department, got them a deal with the label; a couple of months later, the group now known as Fourplay began recording their debut album. Their first record, 1991′s Fourplay, sold over a million copies and remained at the number one position on Billboard's contemporary jazz charts for 33 weeks. Their next LP, 1993′s Between the Sheets, reached number one, went gold, and received a Grammy nomination. In 1995, their third gold album, Elixir, inherited the number one position from Kenny G's Breathless and remained on the charts for more than 90 weeks. Fourplay's 4 album entered the jazz charts at number one when guitarist Larry Carlton joined the band. Now, after fifteen years together, nine CD's and 5 Grammy nominations, Fourplay's X CD debuted at number one (Billboard Contemporary Jazz) remaining there for more than two months.

Join Alan Zlotorzynski and Stephen Shoup for the Fanspeak.com Washington Redskins Pre-game show this morning at 11:00.
Last week, The Redskins earned their second win of the season in comeback fashion in Week 7, scoring in the final minute to complete a 45-41 win against the Chicago Bears. Washington gained 499 yards offensively, the team’s most since posting 511 yards vs. San Francisco on Dec. 26, 1999, a game that went into overtime.
The last time the Redskins posted at least 499 yards in a game that ended in regulation was on Nov. 10, 1991 vs. Atlanta. The 45-point performance was the Redskins’ most in the Shanahan era and the team’s most since scoring 52 points vs. San Francisco on Oct 23, 2005, a span of 128 regular season games.
Washington will need all of that offense today, as they travel to the Mile High City to take on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Manning and Co. are coming off their first loss of the year to the Indianapolis Colts and will not be looking to strike early and often today.
Alan and Steve will break down the game, complete with all of the stats you have come to expect from the dynamic duo. Be sure to listen for the Redskins keys to a victory today.
Despite playing in different conferences, these two teams have a storied history and you will hear all about it this morning.
The guys will finish the show by previewing the rest of the action in the NFL today. You can follow Alan on Twitter @zlotsports and Steve @steveospeak.
Join us for 2 hours at 10 PM Eastern.
Internationally renowned spiritual intuit, medium, channel, author, artist, lecturer and ordained minister, Barbara DeLong has been working professionally in the spiritual field since the early 70’s in addition to being a full time special education teacher and a single parent.
In the 80’s she began painting personal Mandalas for friends. Since that time her paintings and the life readings that go with them are now worldwide with over four hundred of them in private collections. These individual paintings evolved into a circular oracle card deck called The Cosmic Deck of Initiation. The deck was published in 1991, as a peaceful and more spiritual substitute to the standard Tarot deck, with many thousands purchased around the world. In October 2009 she launched her own radio show, “Night-Light”, which features spiritual philosophy, questions and answers and free psychic readings. The show also offers a platform for planting seeds of spiritual insight as well as a showcase for featured psychics offering insight from a plethora of different modalities.
Her newest project is her book "Whispers of Spiritual Wisdom" published by Oracle Publishing. It is a collection of her poetry and short spiritual insights. The response to this book has been impressive and the next book is in the works.

Is there a power play between agent and talent? Is it still the Hollywood stereotype?
