This week, Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from The Athenaeum in London. Situated just steps away from St. James Park, this family-owned establishment is one of Peter’s favorites. He’s been going there for more than 30 years, and it started because of Sally Bulloch, the electric, dynamic general manager—and at the time the only woman to hold that post in a London Hotel. We pay tribute to Sally this week, as we’re joined by Tim Arthur, CEO of Time Out, who gives some of his off-the-brochure secrets for visiting London.
Also joining us is London travel writer and U.S. expat Amy Laughinghouse who talks about the best walking tours in London. All of this and more when Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from the Athenaeum in London.
To Cruise or Not To Cruise, that is the Question. It's sort of like chopped liver, you either love cruising or you hate it. Ironically, the same reasons some love cruises are the same reasons others do not. This week, The Traveling Eye host Bonnie DeShong and Ja'Vonne Harley look at cruises and discuss the different types, destinations and even the ships to give you all the evidence you need to say "Anchors Aweigh" or "Abandon Ship". Tune in and you make the call.

Redding, California, a city with a small town feel and a mecca for outdoor activity–hiking, climbing, boating, biking, swimming…the list goes on and on! The city of Redding sprang out of an area called “Poverty Flats,” and was first settled by early California pioneers. Hudson’s Bay Company trappers and members of the American Settlers passed through the site of Redding while traveling along the Siskiyou Trail.
This week, Travel Today with Peter Greenberg explores the largest city in the Shasta Cascade region and introduces guests such as Redding Historian Doni Chamberlain and State Park Superintendent Lori Martin.
Our goal is to help spread awareness about Climate Engineering, and its effect on our environment. By focusing on the facts, as we know them, we can provide a useful tool for people trying to understand the issue. This subject, by its very nature, attracts a lot of conjecture, and that can be very counterproductive in trying to spread awareness. Facts and hard evidence in the absence of speculation, however, can be very powerful.

Ireland - land of myth, castles, moor and wind swept cliffs. Travel to Ireland with Bob Taylor and Jim Leggett, a world traveler, writers and photographer who held the position of chief photographer for the Scottish Tourist Board.
Jim has traveled Ireland, both North and South, for the past thirty years and with Travel the World on CommDigiNews Podcasts, as Jim takes us on a journey to the land of green.
This week, Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from Cairo, Egypt. We’ve been broadcasting at least once every year from Egypt since 1998. Tourism numbers are down drastically in Egypt, but, as a veteran traveler to the region, Peter argues that this is perhaps the best time to go! You’ll find hardly anyone at the pyramids, and while more than 300 boats usually travel down the Nile in Luxor, this year only about six are operating. Joining Peter will be John Boulding, CEO of Insight Vacations to discuss why his boat, the Tosca, is running—as business is slowly starting to improve.
A few ambassadors also stop by to give their situation report on Cairo and the rest of the country. Then, we go on a quick detour to visit celebrity Chef John Besh to talk about another city that knows all too well about recovery: New Orleans (especially as we near the tenth anniversary of Katrina). All of this and more during this week’s episode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from Cairo, Egypt.
Pets have never been more pampered and spoiled in history than now. Boutiques, Doggy Daycare, Pet Clothes, Boutique pet food, and owners leaving millions to their 4 legged loved ones is all the rage. So why not travel with your trusty companion. They deserve a vacation as well. If you are traveling with the one you love then for a lot of us that may mean our loving cat or dog.
This episode is for the pet lovers out there listening. Now all vacations are not for pets, I believe parents of both children and pets should take time to themselves on occassion to really be able to relax and bond with a mate or nature. But the times you want your friends with you there are lots of options and suggestions on making the best of it for you and your pet.
This is valentines month which is the day to show your loved ones you care, that means Vido as well. Listen for travel tips on flying or driving with your pets, pet friendly hotels, database on animal import requirements, and cool websites to help you make the right choice.
We'll also have a guest speaker from the Texas Wine Trail on to tell us about their event coming up that's almost sold out. Lindsey's local pet events, Yolanda's pet friendly restaurants and hotels, and more.
