"Standing Up for Taking a Knee"

This week on the Coaches Corner we will discuss the topic of the country from the Commander –In-Chief, to owners of the NFL teams; their players and finally the fans. How much respect can you have for this country, the flag or the military when we allow politics and the manipulation of our leaders to unleash their lies? Let me start by saying I am a veteran that proudly served this country for over 20 years, retired and will always respect the flag even though I saw many inequalities and abuse of power from some superiors in the military around me. I hear some vets falling into the trap of mistaking our freedom of speech for disrespecting the country

Let me set the record straight, you do not disrespect the US Flagg by exercising your right to protest by taking a knee for national inequality and police brutality during the national anthem at a sporting event. Colin Kapernick quietly protested his cause.
