Tonight on "The Coaches Corner Show" we focus again on the impotance of parents playing a key role in high school recruiting. In Part II we will discuss what parents can do to help their student athletes become a major assesst ti the current recruiting process. We also want to share the negative aspects of getting involved in the recruiting process. in order for us to offer advice we invite you the listeening audience to call in so we can discuss this sensitive topic and so more parents can give gret involved . Every year we see our young sons and daughters thrilled with the idea and the possibility if earning  scholarship within tgeir reach. Too often we forefiet te power we have in the recruiting process because we do not plan, research and assess the best option and choices we have available to us. Therefore we end up either transferring or droppin out of colege and back on the streets. This is where we as parents cam help our children make better choices and decisions together with our children. As parents we should feel obligated to protect our sons and daughters from dealing with horrific consequences.

Every year thousands of senior student athletes eagerly await their opportunity to go to collefe to start their academic and athletic goals and aspirations at the next level. Will you be engaged from the beginning of the process or will you let someone else take your place? We want to extend this conversation to include all players, parents and coaches.

We invite our listeners to tell your family members, friends and neighbors to tune in, call in and joi the conversation. For those of you that only want to listen pleae do no call into the studi.
