Tonight on the "Coaches Corner", your hosts along with you the lisneing audience will discuss this sensitive topic. So many parents believe the sport is too dangerous. We see our young sons? thrilled with the different levels of football never fear the physical or dangerous side of this sport for themselves. As parents we feel obligated to protect our sons from risks and injuries associated with the game of football, especially youth contact football.

So, are we overeacting of being fearful  or concerned as parents? Every year thousands of young males from ages 5 to 13 years of age eagerly await their opportunity to go out for tryouts, get their equipment and uniforms in hopes of aspiring to become the next grid iron super star.

However; every year we have so many other youngsters will high hopes and dreams of playing youth contact football, They beg and plead their moms and or dads to let them play only to be told no, the dame is too dangerous and we don't want you to grt hurt.

Is it the competition, lack of equipment or just the natyre of the sport just appearing to be dangerous? We want to discuss with you what it is about football that really scares some parents., and why other parents see the game of football as fun good comradere, an opportunity and benefit for their sons. We want to extend this conversation to include everyone, players, parents and coaches at all levels .
