"Wy Are Parents Fearful of Youth Cotact Football"

Tonight on "The Coaches Corner Show"1 hosts along with our special guest Mr. Jeff Newton, president of the Country Club Hills Youth Football Program in Country Club Hills, Illimois will explore a sensative topic for so many parents. We see our sons enamored with the various levels of football but fear the physical and dangerous appearance of this sport for our sons.

Are we overreacting to the game of football as prents? Every year thousands of young males from the ages of Bibb 5 to 13 eagerly await their opportuhity to go out for tryouts, get their equipment and uniforms in hopes of aspiring to become the next grid iron super star.

However; for so many young males with hopes and dreams of playing youth contaxt football beg and plead teir moms and or dads to let   them play football, only to be told it's a  dangerous sport and we don't want you to get hurt.

So, is it the competion, equipment, contact or  just overall nature of the game that make  parents fearful of the game? We want to discuss what make so many parents fearful of   contact football with you the athlete, parents and coaches.
