My Favorite Martian dabew in 1963 started humanizing aliens. The show starred Ray Walston as Uncle Martin (the Martian) and Bill Bixby as Tim O'Hara. Other TV shows came along such as Bewitched in 1964 with Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York. As harmless as these shows may seem they were really the start of public recognition and acclimating the coming generations to of both aliens and witchcraft soon be the norm in the coming decades.
