Scott's insightful guest tonight is Seth David Chernoff. Seth's book, "A Manual for Living: Reality, A User's Guide to the Meaning of Life", is wonderful, thought provoking and easy to read but perhaps hard to grap. If our reach exceeds our grasp that is! lol. As Seth David himself says of his new book, "I am a full-time marketing professional, two-time cancer survivor and author of the award-winning book: Manual For Living: Reality, A User’s Guide to the Meaning of Life. However, instead of using this section of the book to share my history, to showcase areas where I might proclaim my separateness or perceived authority or pre-eminence, I have chosen to use this section to share not how we are dissimilar but how we are alike, for I am like you in more ways than you can imagine. I am everybody, and I am nobody. I struggle like you, constantly searching for the right path and for the strength to overcome the moments of challenge and the ongoing opportunities for growth. In my own way, I suffer from the same pains, hopes, dreams, and fears that you do. Of my own manner, I follow the same path of truth; the search for purpose, meaning, and evolution. I take care of myself, and as part of my path I am of service to my family, my community, and our world at large. I seek connection in life, in addition to balance and flow just as you do. I pray for a world free of the ills that plague us just as you do. I seek a world of peace, kindness, and happiness. I love just as you do, yet I struggle with the painful reality of our world often to make choices in seclusion or separate from spirit or G-d, such that we have a tendency to manifest the opposite of what we desire for ourselves." Listen and call in for Seth David Chernoff.
