A cross-country tour brought her face-to-face with the negative impacts of industrial agriculture and compelled her to trade in her career as a dot .com executive to begin a quest for food raised with integrity. Her first book, The Real Food Revival: Aisle by Aisle, Morsel by Morsel, is a result of that search and offers practical tips for eaters who, like herself, want a more delicious, sustainable future. Stacy is a leading media strategist for environmental health issues and is frequently interviewed by the media about the science and politics of the toxic chemical economy. In October 2008, a Wall Street Journal article named “Not Just a Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry” one of the best environmental reads, and the book won a 2008 Silver Medal Award from the Independent Book Publishers Association.
