Michelle is a vivacious young talent from Louisiana who possesses a maturity well beyond her years, both in her musical abilities and in her character. On stage, her winsome spirit, passionate performances, and unexpected vocal ability all work together to quickly engage audiences, while off stage, you will encounter a charming and endearing personality and a tender heart toward others.
Since the age of three, she has been sharing her love for singing and entertaining. Her talent was first noticed through her participation in the church choir and her dream of becoming an entertainer began at the age of 8 when she performed in her first musical theater production. The standing ovation she received at that event was the spark that gave birth to the idea that she should pursue this dream. Since then, she has performed in many musical theater productions and even landed the lead role of Annie in Annie, the Musical, which played to sold-out performances each night.
In addition to musical theater, Michelle has sung in numerous community events and festivals. But, it wasn’t until she won first place in the professional division at the Beauregard Watermelon Festival in DeRidder, LA, that she truly began to realize and seriously pursue her goal of becoming a professional singer.
At the age of 11, she was discovered by an online talent scout and was featured on the Stars to Come web magazine, which led to an invitation for her to travel to Nashville and audition for industry professionals. She was one of twenty people to be invited from across the nation, and, as a result, she was offered a contract with PCG Nashville, the nation’s premier artist development company. The President of PCG Nashville, Bernard Porter, describes her as “a musical prodigy”.
