Good afternoon Brothers and Sisters:

Would you believe that the LGBT community is so threatened by the Straight Black Pride Movement (SBPM) 1st International Convention in New York City that they have been putting constant pressure on the National Black Theatre to cancel our event?  In fact, they've put so much pressure on this historic Black institution that they are considering canceling our program.

If we as heterosexual Black people who believe in the traditional wisdom of Black man, woman, and child allow this to occur, then the LGBTQ community will have the power to shut down ANY type of local Black gathering that does not openly endorse the "homosexual" agenda.  This would spell disaster for the Black family structure and the future of the Black family.

We are asking all responsible members of the Black family to contact the National Black Theatre and RESPECTFULLY voice your concerns over this matter.  We have people flying into the country from around the world to attend this event and it would be a disaster if we allow the LGBTQ community to wield so much power in our community and that we cannot even celebrate Black culture at Black owned and operated institutions.

Tonight we will discuss how the SBPM will deal with this situation and defend the interests of the Black family moving forward.  If we allow the LGBTQ community to wield this type of influence in the Black community, we will have nothing left to fight for.  We look forward to speaking with you tonight.
