Welcome to The Savvy Money Show, your weekly radio financial talk show airing on WAEC 860 AM in Atlanta every Friday 4:00-4:30pm, and nationally on iTunes. We invite you to tune in as we cover different financial topics on a weekly basis.

The Savvy Money Show is produced and hosted by Andrew G. Poulos, and Enrolled Agent licensed to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.  Since 1995, Andrew has worked with small business owners and individuals to lower their tax liabilities and provide business consulting through a bottom line-focused approach to solving problems.

Author of the QuickBooks Ultimate Lesson Guide 2011© DVD a 16-hour training course teaching the fundamentals of QuickBooks, Andrew is an adjunct instructor for Auburn University’s Continuing Professional Education Department, where he teaches courses on QuickBooks. He is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and author for Intuit’s ProLine Central Newsletter and website.

Andrew also serves on the National Society of Accountants (NSA) Subject Matter Expert Panel and is involved in developing the Accredited Tax Preparer Exam (ATP). He has been appointed to NSA's Accredited Tax Advisor Cutscore panel and is one of the committee judges for the Accredited Tax Advisor Exam.

In this episode Andrew discusses worker classification status and how to determine if your workers are subcontractors or W-2 employees. He also discusses the impact misclassification can have on a business; everything from tax implications to insurance issues. This is a very important episode for all business owners.
