Working Mother Magazine Reveals 2008 Best Companies for Multicultural Women

Working Mother Magazine shares their list of 20 companies that are great places for women of color to work. Many organizations have some sort of diversity plan in place to  bring more women and minorities on board. However, having a great policy in place does not, in itself, a great workplace make.

The companies that made the cut go above and beyond a perfunctory diversity policy by investing resources and getting commitment from top-level execs. Managers are trained on diversity issues and held accountable for upholding diversity policies.

The companies the made the cut aren't satisfied to bring multicultural women onboard; they also want to see these women advance to higher positions within the organization.

    See the list on WorkingMother.com.
