Karlene Petitt is an international airline pilot, author, and speaker. Karlene is a 35-year veteran of flying, and now flies an Airbus for an international airline. She is the mother of three daughters, grandmother of seven, and holds MBA and MHS degrees. She lives in Seattle with her husband of 33 years, and is active in promoting safety within the airline industry, as well as general aviation. Karlene also speaks at schools, is involved in women in aviation, and supports dreamers of all ages.
Her writing career began with designing and authoring training programs for major airlines. Her education and life experiences have allowed her to write a multitude of different genres from thrillers, mysteries, romances, in addition to non-fiction works in motivation, leadership and aircraft training guides. She is currently illustrating her first children's book to be released this year.
