William Wellman, Jr., son of Hollywood's legendary director, "Wild Bill" Wellman. William spent most of his childhood around some of the Hollywood’s greatest celebrities.

While still in his teens, he left Duke University to pursue a career in the movies. He has done over 200 movies
and television shows.

Today we will discuss the upcoming screening of his Dad’s legendary movie, “Wings” the first epic war film from 1927. What is truly unique about Wings are the spectacular aerial “dogfight” sequences in the film.

We will also discuss his wonderful book “The Man and His Wings: William A. Wellman and the Making of the First Best Picture”, a memoir of his dad’s early life.
