This week, the Saving Superwoman team answer a pressing question from a supermom sitting on the stay home or go back to work fence.
Listen in, as the team provide insight to Mary, who asks the following question:
Hello Fellow Superwomen!
I'm a mother of two toddlers and am going crazy! My husband and I decided that I would quit working outside of the home to raise our children until they were school age. I left my advertising career, happy (at the time) to be a mom and believed it was the right decision for me. Now, I'm not so sure! I feel trapped (I have to ask my husband for money), under appreciated (doo doo is making me coo coo) and am craving to use my skills again (and talk to adults on a daily basis). I spoke to my husband about this... and he won't budge from our original agreement, he feels I MUST stay home or else risk the emotional stability and safety of our kids. Oh, the guilt! And the grief of missing my old life. What should I do?
Mary J.
