Today's segment is about finding the good in bad situations. Don't worry - you won't go into a sugar coma from the positivity. I'm a pragmatic person, and I believe that there must be a progression to find the good.

AFTER the grief, anger, shock, disappointment and suffering - what then? I believe that is the moment we must discipline ourselves to have the habit of finding the good - which is entirely different than rejoicing in the bad. Those folks who delight in bad things are - in my opinion - a bit neurotic.

Listen in to hear more and to discover 4 things I believe can change your thinking, which will change your choices, which will change your life.

Mom taught me to say 'please' and 'thank you', she taught me to be honest and to work hard. But it was the unspoken lessons - good and bad - that have had the biggest impact on my life. I'll bet the same is true for you, too.

in this weekly segment, I talk about the lessons we have learned from our moms - how they impact us - and how to pull the good from these lessons to move forward in our lives.
