Today's show is designed to provide emotional tech-support. The topic is: "What's your EMO IQ?"

Are you reacting to your feelings, rather than controlling your response to them? Do you believe that just because you feel something, it must be ok to react to that feeling? Do you know how to interpret your feelings and dig down to the deeper causes?

Our emotions can be powerful things, and can be used for good or evil. When we control our responses to our feelings (because it's virtually impossible to control how we feel), we begin to exercise our emotional IQ muscles.

Our emotions can hold us back and sabotage us (and those around us) if we don't begin to develop an emotional IQ.

Frustration, Defensiveness, Worry, Dislike and Disappointment are common emotional reactions that cause us to react negatively to those around us. If we cannot control ourselves, our responses create conflict, divisiveness, petty arguments and fuel the 'blame game'.

Plaid for Women Radio is the show where we don't talk about business, finances, sports, real estate, or any other topics you'll hear on 'typical' talk radio. We talk about the BUSINESS OF LIFE. Relationships, work, grief and mental health, communication, time management, health and wellness, and more.

We believe that EVERY woman is a working woman, and our goal is to help women achieve goals, gain influence, and be heard.

Plaid for Women Radio is brought to you by PlaidforWomen.com, Jackson Walker, Bob Leonard Law, Assisted Services and Fit for Champs.
