What motivates women to get into politics? What skills do women have that make them assets in the political arena? What do women need to know before they run for office?

In order to make things different, we have to DO things differently. Women must register to vote, and then VOTE. Women who can and want to should run for office.

Of the 535 seats in Congress, 90 of them are held by women. That's less than 17%.

Of the 317 statewide postitions of leadership, 74 are held by women. That's less than 24%.

Of the 7,382 State Legislative positions available, 1,747 are held by women. That's less than 24%.

Join me and my special guests, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price (http://www.facebook.com/BetsyPriceFW) and State Sentor Wendy Davis (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Senator-Wendy-R-Davis/10150100007820094) as they share their thoughts on women in politics.

We won't be taking calls during this show, but if you have questions, you are welcome to post them on the FB page (Facebook.com/thinkzink) or join us in the chat room during the show.
