Broken Promises -Yara “Ya Ya” Grant spent most of her life being the wife of a drug lord, Antwan Grant. She loved life and family with all her heart. Yara took pride in three children: Christopher, Greggory, and daddy’s little princess, Taryn. Antwan and Yara’s marriage is solid as rock but when Antwan is deported back to Jamaica, she has to step up. Will she be able to handle the new responsibilities? Antwan is at the top of his game and viewed his temporary deportation as just a minor setback. But he’s confident that his wife Yara can handle it, especially with the help of his two cousins, Patrick and Neil. Antwan loves his wife, Yara, and his family but as the old saying goes “A man is going to be a man”. When Antwan slips up and catches feelings for his mistress, Mercy, certain lines get crossed to the point that she no longer is satisfied with playing second fiddle. How far is Mercy willing to go to be the one bearing his last name? Greggory Grant is the youngest son of the children, and he feels that his mother treats him different. And the more and more he feels this way, it fuels his hatred towards the one woman who raised him. Christopher, the ever so “Mama’s boy” isn’t stupid. He has a hunch that his father is creeping, and has vowed that if he hurt his mother then, father or not, all bets are off. When new alliances come together to cause destruction. Will this family be able to survive or will they fall from the inside out? Take a ride with the Grant family and discover how sometimes Broken Promises can lead to lethal consequences.
