The inner spiritual experiences of all mystics, whether of the East or the West, are the same.
Like Namdev, Kabir, Paltu, Ravidas (Mira's Sant Satguru later in her life, also spelled Raidas -- see NOTE below ++), and other Saints, Mira gives indications of her inner experiences in some of her poems:

    0 friend, the firmament within
    Resounds with the Divine Melody.

Listen, my soul, to the clanging sound
    That reverberates without any cymbals.

    On the peak of Sunn* burns a lamp;
Forever it burns without any wick or oil.

Describing the bliss of one of the inner regions Mira says:
In Bhanwar Gupha** revel bumble bees#
in joy around flowers of bliss.

    Flowers whose fragrance overwhelms
    them with ecstasy.

    Within Bhanwar Gupha swing souls
    in exuberance;
Souls, who on getting the body
    of five elements,+
Did light the lamp of divine knowledge
    within it.

My eyes oblivious of all else now gaze
    at the Beloved without blinking.

The stupor caused by endless wanderings
    has vanished.

And the Beloved speaks to Mira directly..

++ Mirabai and Ravidas: Mira Bai was the daughter of Rana Rattan Singh Rathor of Merta and a great grand-daughter of Rao Jodhaji, the founder of Jodhpur. She was born at village Kudki in the Merta District in or about AD 1498. She was married to Bhoj Raj, the eldest son of Rana Sangram Singh (popularly known as Rana Sanga). But as ill luck would have it, Prince Bhoj Raj died three or four years after the marriage. Mira became widow at a very young age. A series of deaths in the family left her prostrate. She was broken-hearted and took to a life of devotion and ecstatic mysticism. In some of Mira's padas we find definite clues that she became a disciple of Ravidas..

Many scholars feel that Mira was a believer of Saguna Bhakti and a devotee of Lord Krishna who was an incarnation of Vishnu. Hence, it was not possible for her to become a disciple of Ravidas, who believed in Nirguna Bhakti [devotion to the Formless God]. In this regard it may be said: 'Though the Saguna Bhakti is generally devoted to the incarnation of Vishnu, yet Saguna Bhaktas do not disagree with Nirguna form of God.' The second possibility is that Mira had been a devotee of Lord Krishna before coming into contact with Ravidas. The possibility of a meeting between Mira Bai and Ravidas cannot be ruled out. After the death of her father in March 1527, Mira's devotion and ecstatic mysticism brought her insurmountable misery and suffering. She left her home and started living the life of a recluse and during that period she is said to have visited Kashi and other holy places. It may be that during her visit to Kashi late in 1527 she became a disciple of Ravidas. Ravidas breathed his last in 1584 Bikrmi Sambat (Nov--Dec AD 1527)"..

Moral Conduct According to the Radhasoami Faith

Moral Conduct According to the Radhasoami Faith

    Radhasoami Reality:

{Radhaswami Dayal ki Daya Radhaswami Sahai:
    "Grant Merciful Radhasoami Thy Grace and Protection"}

    Moral Conduct

From: The Radhasoami Faith, A Historical Study, by A.P. Mathur, pages 86 and 87

A true satsangi should in all faith and sincerity adhere to the following edicts :

    1. Radhasoami faith is the true religion and Radhasoami is the name of the true Supreme Being.

    2. The Sant-satguru of the time is the Supreme Being incarnate. With all love and humility, the devotee should serve him with body, mind and soul. His satsang should be attended with full faith and attention.

    3. The true name revealed by the Satguru is Radhasoami. It is Dhunyatmak naam or the supreme resonance of the highest division of creation; all others who have manifested themselves at lower spheres are subordinate to it. Radhasoami as such is the all-pervading spiritual resonance that harmonizes the sounds of different lower regions; hence Radhasoami is the sat-shabd or true holy name.

    4. By implanting this true name within one's own self with all love and faith, the sumiran, dhyan and bhajan should be practiced [sumiran/simran: repeating God's Name (Radhasoami), dhyan: visualising the form of one's Sant-satguru/teacher and seeing inner Light; bhajan: meditating upon the inner Sound]. Bhajan or surat-shabd-yoga should be practiced in a secluded place regularly and with all reliance in the grace and mercy of Radhasoami Dayal [the Compassionate Lord of the Soul] and Satguru; whatever is observed and heard should be kept secret and should not be divulged to others under any circumstances.

    5. A true satsangi should surrender himself entirely to the mauj [will] of the Satguru. Whatever comes to pass in his life, he should not complain; rather he should take it to be for his good.

    6. Animal diet and intoxicants should be totally avoided. Use of rich food and over-eating should also be avoided. The period of sleep should be gradually reduced to six hours a day.

    7. Attachment to the worldly people and the material objects should be reduced to the minimum. Worldly thoughts should not be allowed to overpower the mind. The mind and senses should be kept under control. Public and private duties should be performed with mental equanimity.

    8. Feeling of pride and vanity in matters of caste, wealth, position and personal qualifications should not be allowed to grow. Love and humility are true virtues or real personal ornaments which should be adopted.

    9. Jealousy, antagonism and anger should not be entertained. Time should not be wasted in useless pursuits and gossip. A habit of forgiveness and tolerance should be inculcated.

    10. Feeling of love, affection and brotherhood for fellow satsangis should be cultivated. A true desire to fulfill the ideals of bhakti [love and devotion] should be nurtured.

    11. Attention should in no case be diverted to activities, customs and functions detrimental to true spiritual pursuits. Fear of worldly gain should not distract the mind from fulfilling the requirements of the faith.

    12. Benevolence and charity should be adhered to and a certain portion of the earnings should be spent in parmarthi activities.

    13. One should deal with others in the same manner as one would wish others to behave with him. If one is not in a position to do good to others, he should under no circumstances cause any harm to them. Nothing should be done with the motive of gaining name and fame in the world.

    14. The spiritual realization, inner secrets of the practice of surat-shabd-yoga [meditation upon the inner Sound of God (Radhasoami)], and inner revelations of His grace and mercy should at no cost be disclosed by a devotee to anybody except the Satguru.

    15. Truth should be the guideline in the performance of all activities, spiritual or temporal, for a satsangi. Nothing that falls short of truth should be acceptable to him. ////////

Beatific Vision -- Why Wait? Develop Inner Vision

Beatific Vision -- Why Wait? Develop Inner Vision

Rumi says: "So long as a spirit does not rise above tile body consciousness,
It remains a stranger to the spiritual realms beyond"..

Was just looking up "Beatific Vision" at Wikipedia:

"In Roman Catholic theology, the beatific vision is the eternal and direct perception of God enjoyed by those who are in Heaven, imparting supreme happiness or blessedness. While humans' understanding of God while alive is indirect (mediated), the beatific vision is direct (immediate). Thomas Aquinas defined the beatific vision as the ultimate end of human existence after physical death. Aquinas's formulation of beholding God in Heaven parallels Plato's description of one beholding the Good in the world of knowledge"..

With a living school of mysticism from India known as Sant Mat however, visions of God or heavenly regions do not begin "after physical death". Living ones can also see, right now in the living present. This more Present Tense mystical approach can also be found in the Gnostic tradition and Sufism..

As Kabir once said (Robert Bly version):

What you call "salvation" belongs to the time before death..

If you don't break your ropes while you're alive,
    do you think
    ghosts will do it after?..

The idea that the soul will join with the ecstatic
just because the body is rotten --
    that is all fantasy.
What is found now is found then.
    If you find nothing now,
you will simply end up with an apartment in the City of Death.
If you make love with the divine now, in the next life you will have the face of satisfied desire..

So plunge into the truth, find out who the Teacher is,
    Believe in the Great Sound!..

Kabir says this: When the Guest is being searched for,
it is the intensity of the longing for the Guest that does all the work.
Look at me, and you will see a slave of that intensity..

Also, it says in the Gospel of Thomas, Saying 59:

Contemplate the Living One while you are alive, lest you die and then seek to behold that One --- and you will not be able to see..

The mystic-perspective found in the Sant Mat tradition and other mystical orders of the past is that the passage of time does not bestow enlightenment. Calendars won't help us make spiritual progress. As Kabir also said, "What is true now is true then."  Seeing Divine Light is not about after death or future-tense events in the sky or in another life, but a very real, present tense shift in consciousness from the world of the fives senses to the Third Eye Center and beyond during contemplative meditation practice during THIS LIFE. This is about discovering a new way of seeing, developing spiritual vision. "If your eye becomes Single, your whole body shall be full of Light." The spiritual dimensions are accessed from within. God and all the planes, universes or dimensions of creation are to be found within you..

Kirpal Singh passages from SPIRITUALITY -- What it is -- A PEEP INSIDE:

"We spend most of our time in admiring the outer surface of worldly things, and care not to see the very soul of the matter that lies hidden underneath and bespeaks the Great Creator, the creative life-principle, without which even the surface beauty cannot exist for a fraction of a second..

"Once a spirit transcends the physical realm, it inherits as its birthright the spiritual kingdom -- for the Kingdom of God lies within..

"If you would not leave the caravanserai of the body,
How can you reach the true Home of your Beloved?" - Hafiz Shirazi

"This transcendence of the spirit from the senses is technically known in Sant Mat as death in life (self-annulling), and in the Vedantic terminology as self-analysis. Christ calls it second birth or birth anew, and Muslims term it as "dying before death." This immersion in God is true resurrection, or coming into new life. It is possible only through accepting the Path of any Master-soul -- which is none other than that of the Sound-current..

"The physical eyes can see only physical things, and both of these are subject to decay and death. But if our inner eye could be opened, we would be able to see immortal and imperishable planes. "An animal with his head downwards may well think of eating and drinking all the time, but fie on man, with his head erect, if he were not to look upward." (Shamas Tabriz). So long as a person does not rise above the sensual world, he remains ignorant of the high Heavens meant for his blessedness..

"As the spirit transcends the physical plane, it has to pass through various realms characterized by stars, the sun and the moon. There it is greeted by the luminous form of the Master, who takes charge of the spirit, with whom he proceeds by the Sound-current to reach the True Home of our Father..

"The spirit, as it withdraws from the body, proceeds by degrees from one plane to another, until it reaches Sat Naam or Haq. From what has been said, it should be clear that so far the spirit is an entity quite apart from Sat Naam. The Over-Lord of all is called Khasum (Lord of all), Swami, Hari Raj, Maha-Dayal, or Nirala, unique in Himself and indescribable. The spirit gets merged in Him just as a drop of water loses itself in the ocean, or a ray of light in the sun.."

"As water mingles with the water,
So doth light merge in the light.." -- Gauri M 5

"As a ray of light gets absorbed in the sun and a drop in the ocean,
So doth the light of spirit, in the Great Light.." -- Bilawal M 5

7 Teachings of Sant Mat, The Path of the Masters

7 Teachings of Sant Mat, The Path of the Masters
    By James Bean
    http://santmat.gaia.com

    *1) God is Real..

*2) God is Love, the Ocean of Love and Compassion..

*3) All of the world scriptures teach about the same manifestation of God as inner mystical Light and Sound..

*4) Our true identity is soul, the Self. Soul is part of God and therefore is, like God, pure love..

*5) During this human existence we have an opportunity to experience God..

*6) As we experience communing with God's love during meditation -- Surat Shabd Yoga, we can rise above body-consciousness and explore Inner Space, the "Kingdom of the Heavens" that are within us. "We travel back from the realm of Darkness to the realm of Light, from the Light to divine Sound, and from the realm of Sound to the Soundless state." (Swami Sant Sevi Ji Maharaj) The drop merges back into the Ocean of Love..

*7) As we get initiated into the Mysteries of the Spirit by a Living Teacher (Sant Satguru), the purpose of our life is fulfilled. Reuniting with God is our reason to be here: "It was for the sake of the God-conscious beings that our True Lord created this earth, and began this play of death and birth".. (Adi Granth) Kabir says: "For millions of years you have slept. This morning, will you not wake?"..
