I am excited to launch my first radio show. I have been toying with the idea of podcasting and signed up for BTR as a host in 2008. It took me this long to get up the nerve. Some of us just take longer to get going. I am writer, photographer and all around creative vagabond. I enjoy playing in the warm waters of creativity. I am lucky to have met some wonderfully talented people and I hope to have them on this show to discuss the arts, creativity and how people can access their own innate talents.
Today I am thrilled to have as my guest longtime friend Phyllis Haynes. We met in 1984 at her show, Straight Talk on WOR-TV. Later I worked with Phyllis as an assistant to her business and show life. And now I am glad to say we have remained friends and colleagues. Let me introduce her.
Who is Phyllis Haynes?
She is an award winning television personality, Producer, and former ABC News Correspondent. Phyllis Haynes has been motivating, training, and inspiring people around the world and across the USA. Phyllis was invited by the European Union and the Hellenic Foundation to bring her work to the emerging marketplaces of Central and Eastern Europe.
Ms. Haynes has 20 years on TV Including WOR in NYC and ABC.
She won the American Film Institute Award for a film with Susan Sarandon called AIDS: The Facts of Life!
