Parents of children diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder are often faced with challenges they feel are too big to overcome. Children adopted from foster care, orphanages overseas, and even children adopted at birth through agencies can struggle with attachment issues. Adoptive mom and mentor, Sandra Nardoni, discusses in common terms how early brain development and stress can cause attachment problems. Sandra speaks generally about how these problems can be addressed and whether or not there is hope for healing. Listeners will be directed to in depth resources that Sandra and her husband, Tim used during their adoption that helped their family overcome the attachment problems their two children were displaying.
