Law of Attraction - Spirit is Speaking

It has been so clear to me since being exposed to the Law of Attraction material and watching the secret, that a couple of key ingredients seem to be consistantly left out. Being a Spirit Communicator, a minister, a meditator and a Spirit led man,  I have not be able to separate Spirit/God involvement in my life from me as a person. The two are so intertwined I don't believe I could live separately from my connection to Spirit/God.

I am not saying that the Law of Attraction material leaves this concept completely out, but I do feel the subject needs to be covered more fully. In my life experience I have come to realize that I have done nothing that powerful without a God/Spirit interaction. All of the worthwhile experiences and creations in my experience have had a very great power involved that was not just me on my own.

The messages I have received over the years for direct guidance as to where to go, who to meet, to be open to the unexpected, were not ideas of my own. They were a direct communication with something Divine and much more powerful that my individual self. Please don't miss hear me. I am not stating that I have no power to affect my reality and what is created in my life. I am just clearing stating that I do not believe I can create anything on my own.

I realize that visualization is important.  I understand that clearing any doubts we have about attainning our goals and dreams, need to be cleared. I also understand the concept of getting out of the way to allow the dream to come to fruition. By allowing the reality to shift and move along the steps to achieve the dream, we allow a power to supercede our limited understanding of how our goal will be achieved. In other words, once we realize we do not know how "it" will all happen and allow that process to take over, our reality changes almost on its own.

As we continue to get more clear on how the process is working, we can practice the procedure we discovered and watch as the results present themselves. It truly is a fascinating process. But, what about the time frame from the inspired vision/dream to the actually physical manifestation? Who has come up with a clear and understandable explanation for this delemma? Although I have seen many a great thing happen in my own life, there are a couple of goals, especially in clearing up some past business, that have seemed to be delayed. I have analyzed my role in these situations, I have even made changes to match current conditions. I have followed guidance and direction to keep the energy moving and have seen some results in the reactions of people in relation to this situation.  Furthermore this goal is simply resolving old business so that I may be fully present in the life experience I am choosing to have at this time.

So this is my current dilemma with the "law of attraction." How long do we need to remain focused, optimistic, doubt free from creating our goal and follow those numerous steps to seeing it through to fruition? I don't know. Some may say "until you realize that reality." But what if you have moved on to another reality and the old experience just seems to be distracting you from your new life? Just something to think about, especially as so many are waking up to a new way of life they want to experience and are literally forced to move on and let go of the old. What is "the old," you ask? Anything that is keeping you from living your new dream and reality. Anyone who is not in alignment with the new "life" you are choosing to live. Wow!!! Easier said than done. We have all had some experience of something ending. A relationship, a job, moving, are all  experiences that may have just seemed to happen out of our control. Now, as we become more conscious of our desires and our choices to assist in creating our new reality, we must face some real responsibility. Realizing that our choices will affect the outcome, we must decide what stays and what goes as well as who stays and who goes. Much happens just the way it needs to happen, if we just let go. But what of those situations that we may be clinging to from fear or just because we haven't decided what to do?

Now is where the real power can come into play. As we focus on all of our relations, we can allow the clarity of our connections, supportive or not, of our new dream, then decide whether or not we wish to continue to nurture that connection or let it go. Some are more difficult than others to walk away from.

Prior to leaving Florida for my cross country trip, I had a dear friend of about twenty years. We had history and many great shared experiences. Our relationship however, had become strained, our conversations exhausting. He had been living with the reality of elderly parents and some of the issues that can arise as far as health, health care and home life needs. Our conversations had become stagnant, where we would mostly complain about our respective realities. This went on for over a year prior to my trip. Meanwhile my new life was forming and the excitement leading up to the trip was growing. One night on the phone, we were basically phone friends at this point, I had realized what we were doing. We had lost support for one another and the energy between us was fruitless and dead.  I decided to address this discovery and ask that we decide to change what we were doing and get back on a positive track.

In our subsiquent conversations, nothing changed. I then suggested that we take a break from communicating until such time as we felt clearer to share some of the good things we were experiencing. This suggestion was met with some dissatisfaction. I then decided that I needed to take a break from this friendship and allow life to move me where I needed to be. Shortly before leaving for my trip I saw my friend for the last time. It was quite by accident at a popular restaurant I was at for breakfast. My friend's reaction was nervous and strained. I do not know exactly what he was feeling and he obviously wanted this experience to end quickly. So we finished eating and hurriedly walked  to the parking lot and departed. I remember feeling complete love and support for my long time friend and had no negative feelings at all. I still pray for his happiness and the health of his family, but I know that it was imperative for me to remove myself from that connection. These are some of the difficult choices we must face, when we are moving into a new reality and life experience.

This brings me back to alignment and the Law of Attraction. If we are asking for a new experience, a material thing, a new relationship, job or whatever it will become necessary for us to make changes we may not have known would be imperative in creating our goal. I believe the key is to be aware when these choices arise and be clear of our emotional reactions about them, then resolve to move into the new reality feeling complete and free of any "old" energy. By freeing ourselves from the past, we are free to fully enjoy our present.

Best wishes for all of your new creations. Salvatore
