Prior to being appointed director, Charles Pettijohn was a seasoned faculty member at several universities, most recently at Missouri State University's College of Business Administration. He has spent more than 30 years specializing in sales programs which included the study of selling ethics and behavior, sales training and performance and critical sales skills, and has authored nearly 150 journal articles on these and related topics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Western State University, a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University. He is also a Fellow of the Marketing Management Association.
