Cancer is a subject all to personal for Becky. Her dad had Prostate Cancer; sister-in-law had Thyroid Cancer and her little sister died in 2014 from Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. As a woman we are taught to do monthly breast exams but really how many do? In 2017 it’s estimated that among US women there will be 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer which will lead to 40, 610 deaths. Kate Koepkin is a breast cancer survivor and she will discuss her journey on a personal and medical level. Manda Jo Zamora is a single mom on a mission. She has supported pediatric cancer through her online etsy shop. Most childhood cancers are a result of DNA changes very early in life. Our kids deserve more then 4% in funding for cancer research
