Rich Palmer is a safety educator, public information officer, and community affairs professional with the Washington Township Fire Department in Montgomery County, Ohio. He is serving as the 2008-2009 president of the National Information Officers Association. Rich is also a musician. He has released a CD for kids called "Sing a Song for Safety" and is working on a mainstream collection of music for listeners of all ages. When possible, he produces podcasts, including Audio Gumshoe; Blogs, Views and Blues; and "A Rich Perspective."
