Resist Not Evil: Matt 5:39

This piece is about the strange paradox of just how it is that we gain real glory and resist sin, evil and the devil.  1 Pet 5:6-9.  This is all very counter-intuitive to what the natural mind thinks.  We resist evil by not resisting it.  Matt 5:39.

We resist the one who strikes blows against us by loving him and absorbing his blows in non retaliation.  Matt 5:38-48.

We resist our enemy when he is hungry by feeding him and giving him drink when he's thirsty.  We overcome evil with good.  We kill evil with kindness.  Rom 12:17-21.
