by Travis Bryan III ... Lion power vs Lamb power. Or you could say wolf power vs sheep power. Or eagle power vs dove power. These symbols represent the two radically different kinds of power or force that collided once for all at the cross of Calvary. Lion (or wolf) power KILLS in order to conquer. Sheep (or Lamb) power conquers by DYING. All day long we are being killed like sheep led to slaughter ...Yea, in all these things (the suffering of the cross thrown at us by Satan) we are more that conquerors. This is sheep power. Rom 8:35-38; Rev 5:4-7 @v6; Rev 17:16; Rev 19:11-21. Satan's worldly power is DIRECT force and the threat of it. God's upside down heavenly power is always by INDIRECT force without threats, force exerted through, and always according to, the principle of the cross. God's power is the power of the cross which mysteriously always causes division within the ranks of Satan's kingdom, evil turning against itself. Rev 17:16; 2 Chron 20; Judges 7. Satan's kingdom self-destructs when faced with the principle of the cross. This is the outcome of the indirect non-threatening power of God's self-sacrificial love. Satan's house divided will fall. Satan's weapons are always carnal. They are what the natural mind sees as standard human weapons of violence of the tongue or gun and resulting destruction. God's weapons are divine. 2 Cor 10:1-4. God's weapons always appear as folly to the natural mind. They are not "practical." God turned Satan's earthly weapons (spears and swords) into His weapons (pruning hooks and plowshares) through the cross. Mic 3:4. Now we ourselves are to take up the cross of gentle tranquil dynamite. We are to walk out into the world as precious little lambs anointed with the lamb power of God and stand in faith against the Satan's principalities, powers and spiritual forces of darkness in high places.
