Host Todd Tomasella with Special Guest Paul Roberts

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”  1 CORINTHIANS 1:10 KJV

Today, due to division, the Church is a mere shadow of it’s former self when measured against the pattern initially set forth by the Holy Ghost in the Book of Acts. This unchanging pattern was to be emulated by the Church in all ages. The outstanding characteristic of the early church was that they were in one accord and continued steadfastly in the doctrine of the apostles. However, late in the apostolic period the church had fallen down from the initial pattern set forth in the Book of Acts. In the letter to the Church in Ephesus around 96 A. D., Jesus told them to remember from whence they had fallen and to repent and do their first works.

Regrettably, the body of Christ is so divided today, contrary to the instruction of Holy Scripture. Private interpretation of the Scriptures and spurious versions of the Bible have caused this division. There are 4 major rules of interpretation that have been abandoned by the church that need to be rigorously reinstituted. The letters to the seven churches disclose the seven phases of the state of the church throughout history and how and why we got to where we are today. This is especially depicted by the letters to the “end time” churches in Philadelphia and in Laodicea. With the LORD's blessing, this will enable us to begin the process of coming together once again in the unity of the faith. Paul Roberts
